Easy to Do

This overhead rain showerhead has worked well for the two or three weeks that I’ve had it. Easy to install. Build.com staff really easy to work with when returning a different showerhead that didn’t have a swivel for this one which does.

Delta Rainhead Shower Head

This shower head delivers a luxurious rainhead experience - no wimpy flow with this one. It’s easy to clean, and I expect it will last.

Worked for a couple of years until it suddenly split in half

Installed in 2016 with other matching Delta fixtures. Has worked fine until two days ago when it suddenly split in half along the seam. Came here to buy a replacement, but saw another buyer had a similar problem, so instead will call Delta tomorrow for a warranty claim. They weren’t very helpful when another piece in this collection tarnished, so hopefully this will be a better experience. That said, it worked well until it didn’t!

Beware

Installed in our newly-built house last year now the head is leaking and appears to be coming apart. Water is squirting and flowing indiscriminately. Very disappointed!

The pressure and look are perfect but, less than a year after installing, one of the three I purchased is now splitting at the seam, which makes absolutely no sense at all. I have to purchase another one because it is happening to one of the two in the master bath so I'm eaither changing one or changing both.

Happy Showers

Our plumber recommended an energy saving Delta showerhead. This product runs lower gallons per minute than our prior one. Our showers can be hotter, although with less water pressure spray. Our hot water runs off our old tankless oil boiler. So this product will buy us some time to save up for a replacement boiler.

We wanted a rainforest type shower head but our contractor warned us that many do not have a strong enough spray to wash out shampoo, etc. He recommended this style and we couldnt be happier. This is a perfect blend of rainforest and traditional stream. Not harsh but strong enough to rinse all the soap and shampoo away. Also affordable compared to some others. We had him install it with an extension so that we can stand under it when pointed straight down.

Not true!

It works fine, but these are not large water droplets. It's like a mist! I cannot wash my hair every day, but yet it gets wet every day because of the mist from the shower head. How disappointing!

My wife really likes the 8 in and it is more like a rain. Matches existing 5 in that came with the house in color and design. It is approx 2.5 times larger in area. The holes will plug up over time depending on how hard your water is unless you have soft cold and hot water. Our 5 in started to plug where it was noticeable after 2 to 3 years. Soak in vinegar etc.

I chose Delta products when I built my home 7 years ago. They have excellent customer support call center availability BUT their products are NOT guaranteed for like as they advertise. When I called to ask for a replacement because several spray holes were clogged or shooting water sideways - I was told go soak it in half vinegar and half water. Not the response I wanted and because shower and tub parts in the wall are not interchangeable I am married to Delta for life in my bathroom.

Works great; installed easily without leaks. Didn't have to wrap threads of pipe with new piece of teflon tape. Unscewed old shower head. Screwed new one one hand tight.Also, shower water pipe would "sing" when turned on with older shower head. The "singing" seems to have been eliminated upon installation of Delta Rizu.

Loved the shower head after install was exactly the rain shower i was looking for. Six months after install it began to leak badly at the seams. Even flooded my bathroom before I could get it shut off. This after six months at a residence we only use art time. Very disappointing for a Delta product.

[Rewarded Review] Great Showerhead!

We recently remodeled our master bathroom and used this showerhead along with several other Delta products. The spray from the showerhead is large and very gentle. We also installed a handheld sprayer and 2 wall mounted sprays. We feel like we're at a spa now!

This Raincan Shower Head is exactly what we were looking for in that it feels like a total drenching while you wash and shampoo. It came ready to install, all nice with a shiny finish. It is wider or bigger than expected. We didn't remove any water re-stricter. We don't have great water pressure but this didn't hamper the flow that we got with this head. My husband is a foot taller than me so using the Delta Faucet UA902-PK 10-inch Adjustable arm was a perfect solution to raise it up and down. He even needed to tilt it at an angle but still enjoyed a drenching shower experience. This is our best purchase of the year.

We LOVE this rain shower head! Great addition to any shower. You can turn the water on and stand in the shower without getting wet while the water warms up. We use this shower head daily over the normal shower head.

Big Improvement

My home came with Price-Pfister fixtures throughout. The shower heads in the master bath failed after two years. I got new ones under warranty. The replacement shower heads failed after two years. I gave up on Price-Pfister and bought Delta shower heads. They work great. No problems. A definite upgrade.

We recently finished a Master Bathroom remodel and had installed a rather expensive Grohe rain shower head. The shower was so weak but we thought that was simply the case on a rain shower head and we lived with it for nearly 8 months. Then we saw the great reviews on the Delta RP52383 Touch Clean and decided to give it a try. Soooo glad we did. Night and day imrpovement over the other, more costly Grohe. Would highly recommend this shower head to anyone who is contemplating a rain shower or who, like us, has one that is not living up to expectations. This one will make you happy.
