These thing leak and cause damage

I purchased one of these Insinkerator Hot Water Dispensers and installed Jan 2023. Less than two year and it was leaking - major damage to cabinet and floors. See the pictures I took right after I noticed the leak. Again, this unit is less than two years old and my wife used it to fill two cups of hot tea each morning. The metal tank is completely corroded (this picture is after the cheap plastic case was removed). I wouldn't purchase one of these again.

So far so good ( 6months). I’ve heard of long term issues but we’ve been enjoying hot water for tea and coffee with none whatsoever.

Very happy hot water tank. Not very happy with water filter unit. The water inlet device fell off. I thought it was broken but it was only partially glue to the main filter unit. Poorly constructed and I am not able to use hot water unit with water filter unit

Nice looking unit. Much smaller than the previous piece that was there.

Leaked after 3 years

This is our second one of these. The first lasted almost 10 years before the tank leaked. This model however started leaking just after the waranty expired. Love the covenience but not the damage it caused.

Bought as a replacement. Arrived perfect and intact. Great buy. These are $428 at Home depot.

Cord is a bit limiting but filtered hot cold is great!!

It works as it did 10 years ago....fast delivery!

This purchase was for a replacement of a 10 year old system. The system started to leak and we knew it had to be replaced...We had a plumber install the unit and it took no time for the job to get done...works as it did and couldn't be happier...we use it every day for our hot and cold water needs.

Good for 3 years, and then it leaks

We bought one, and enjoyed it and three years later it failed. We got another one, because of the reviews …. And just under 3 years later I walked into a flooded kitchen because the it sprung a leak, again. I will not buy another one of this model.

Works very well, as advertised. Fit perfectly with control faucet by same company.
