the shipping container that this came in was excellent it was reinforced inside of a cardboard box with all the corners reinforced and also had styrofoam on the front side of the plate the Box itself was very sturdy the great was a good fix for my J box easy to install with the four self-tapping screws aluminum was a good gauge and plenty of airflow for the air conditioner to get rid of the Heat but small enough to keep out any type of birds for nesting

I purchased this grill thinking it would keep spiders & bees from entering the back of the AC unit but it doesn't keep them out. The louvers are too wide. The only thing it would keep out is mice. It would be nice if LG added an insect screen to this grill.

The in-wall unit frame I purchased seemed to have its own grill, so we ended up putting this extra one inside the frame. This purchased extra grill here, while not absolutely necessary, was considerably more sturdy and, I think, worth the extra expense given that these in-wall a/c units can last a couple of decades.

I recommend this product

Helps protect the fins of my wall airconditioner from being bent by birds and people accidentally hitting them. Plus, the protector looks nice.

I bought this because I didn't like the flimsy mesh that came with my in-wall unit. This is designed for it and fits well. It you also have to be careful with it and not bend it, but it is better than the plastic mesh cover the unit came with.

Didn't realize that I didn't need product

Didn't end up needing this product. LG AXSVA1 Universal Through-the-Wall Sleeve that I boughy already came with a grill. I will try to return it. #sweepstakes

LG Grille does the jog

It does the job. It's a light gauge alumunim which makes it flimsy, so one must handle with care. But the lighter gauge allowed me to trim it to size to fit my older wall sleeve with just a scissors from my desk drawer. It's important to use an LG grille for an LG air conditioner for proper ventilation.

Looks great on outside of our wall AC unit. The pre drilled holes didn’t match our unit. Easy fix with drill to add new holes. Otherwise great product!
