Great lantern but has hickups

Everything about this lantern is awesome when the battery is charged. When it dies you are up the creek.

I use this Streamlight Lantern when I’m outside at night on my patio. It doesn’t attract many mosquitos or bugs. It’s bright enough to light up the area around me. I haven’t had any issues with it. I have even left it outside in the rain and hot sun. Definitely a brand I’d recommend.

Sold, dependable, worth the money

It does exactly what it says it will do working nights as a security in a condo building having a good light is critical, I use this as a backup to my main light and I couldnt be happier. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs a good lantern.

Best rechargable ever

we've had ours since they came out in I think the early/mid 2010s. Incredibly durable and flexible and bright – and 1 charge lasts a looooong time. Used many camping trips and power outages and repair sessions where light is needed, and still going strong.

Do not buy from Streamlight!

Should you buy from Streamlight, save your box. You’ll need it for your inevitable RETURNS. And I wrote that plural on purpose! Our Streamlight product has been back THREE times, with return postage at our expense. Avoid this lousy company

Excellent light.

Rugged and dependable. I bought this as a camping/emergency light. I've been testing it on night time fishing on boat marine environment. So far no problems and holds a charge for long time.

Well worth the money. I love all the many features that it has. The light on HIGH illuminates a room quite nicely. The amount of time the battery stays charged is impressive. A great feature is that you can charge your other devices from the lantern itself. A wonderful survival item.

Great at first, ready for the landfill now.

The super siege was great the first two years I had it. I loved using it, but this year it is completely dead and won’t take a charge. The battery is not replaceable like most Li-ion devices and Incant service it myself. Plus, everyone is moving to USB-C so this device is obsolete. I’m going back to using my 20 year old Coleman dual fuel.

What an awesome lantern. High is blinding. Low is very bright and will light up a room easily. I was so happy with the quality of it, that I bought another one. Definitely will come in handy for power outages/camping/fishing. Thank you Lapg.

Great lantern

I purchased one of these a while back and my wife tried it, loved it, and stole it. I had to buy another one this winter and we are very happy with them. So easy to charge and they hold a great charge. I am going to have to get one for my folks for winter power outages.

Streamlight Super Siege

Great product with excellent features. Nice lighting options with the high setting (1100 lumens) putting out incredible bright light. A somewhat expensive lantern but worth the money. A must have for outdoorsmen and the serious prepper.

Great lantern

I bought this lantern without seeing it in person. Upon receiving it, I was surprised how small and compact it is. For its size, it puts off a good bit of light. If you’re on the fence, you won’t be disappointed with it.

Streamlight Super Siege, Great So Far!

I bought this a few weeks ago, and my son loves it to use when we have fire pit fire and other outdoor activities. Great brightness levels and easy use. I like that it is rechargeable.

Bright enough, light enough.

This is my favorite lantern; it's size and weight are fine for my uses and its output is very good. I can't speak precisely to Streamlight's runtime claims, but I've never needed to charge it on trips up to a week long with lows below freezing. On high, the white LED throws plenty of light to identify the varmint in the tree above your bear bag or on the other bank of the creek, but you'll definitely want the shield on (or the globe off) if you're holding it, lest you be pretty well dazzled. Inside a tent, even low-white is brighter than necessary for most tasks. Low-red, though, is perfectly comfortable and still enough to read by. Finally, as to durability, I have neither thrown this lantern into a creek nor whacked its globe against a rock, but rain has had no effect on it, nor has the occasional dropping. Were I going to thru-hike the AT with a lantern, I might take a lighter one that ran on replaceable batteries, but for everything else, I'm satisfied with this unit.

I Purchased this in the spring for this years camping this lantern is amazing Do you to all the options because you and all the settings it is the brightest lantern I’ve ever had but has two lower settings if you want a soft light very durable in the extra hideaway compartment on the bottom that’s great to hide money or a key

nice lantern

light is well built and bright. only thing is while using red lighting you have a green on button not ideal during bug season. charges last quite awhile on the low setting and is more then bright enough for most things. it also works well in cold weather with no issues
