Easy to install, works great! Now planning on upgrading other dimmer switches in our house to this type.
Good value
Worked well. Resonably priced
Not worthwhile.
Dims a little from fully bright then jumps to half-dim. Smooth transition from then until dark.
East install. Works FINE increasing or lowering illumination of lights. Rate at A....
Really like the functionality of this switch. Like it better than the original one. Eventually going to switch them all out.
This dimmer switch is easy to install, and not a bulky size that takes up too much room in the outlet box. The switch also gives us a wide range of elumination to crate the ambiance that is desired.
A nice dimmer.
Not much to review. It's a clean looking dimmer switch that does what it's supposed to. 🤷♂️
Great value
Easy to install. works great.
Affordable but Great dimmer switch
Nice looking, easy to install and works great!
Exactly how a dimmer should work without all the
Doesn’t dim. Always full on or off. Nothing in between. As I had electrician install would cost me big bucks to replace.
Easy Installation
Very easy to install!
easy to install
Im an 82 year old female and was able to install this in minutes
Flickering or strobbing lights
Has resulting a lot of flickering of the LED bulbs when initially selecting a level. Flickering may continue for 15 seconds or so. Lights may change brightness at some point by themselves within 30 seconds. Sometimes a specific setting may result in a strobe effect that will not stop until you re-adjust the setting. I've heard that some dimmers may not pair well with certain LED bulbs, perhaps that is the issue here. Not sure.
Spend a little more and get a better dimmer
I replaced all of my dimmers with these when I switched to LED lights. They work fine, at first. They all failed within 3 years. I'm guessing that dust gets into them and makes them useless. They slowly lose their full range of dimming. Most stop getting to full brightness. One failed completely with no lights until you slid the switch back and forth fast to clean the contacts enough to at least get the lights to come on dimly. I've replaced them all with Slide Bar dimmers.
Overtemps
overheated. Went to 175 degrees Fahrenheit.
Plastic bezel or switch breaks.
I have bought many of these switches to replace in the whole house. I have had to replace at least half a dozen because either the the side bezel that hold the switch start cracking then break off of the middle slider piece breaks right off. Have also used the ones with buttons and have had similar issues.
install and functioning
new product easy install no flickering thanks
easy install; works great; no flicker
I changed my living room BR40 bulbs from 100 watt incandescents and halogens to 17 watt (100 watt equivalent) LEDs. In doing so, I needed to change the two corresponding dimmer switches, which were for incandescents only. The wires were a little short for my gang box and there was no way to change them from the switch (hardwired in), so, I had to use a pigtail to connect the switches to the gang wires (n.b., my home was built in 1964, so, it might not be that difficult in more modern homes); no big deal; took an extra 5 minutes. The result was nice, soft, bright, dimmable, lights, with no flicker, no matter how the switches are positioned. The last time I bought a dimmer switch, it cost only about $10 for two, so, this was a bit of sticker shock (no pun intended!), but, surprisingly, Ace had the lowest price around, though I had to wait a few days for them to deliver it to the store (for some reason, my local Ace couldn't get it, so I had to drive 15 miles to another Ace store; local home/lumber and big box retailers didn't have it either in-store or online!). It took 20 minutes, total, to install both (I made sure to label each wire as I removed it, so I'd know which went where!).
3 out of 4 that I bought flicker on the lowest setting. Very poor quality.
