The hose reel is very easy to install and very easy to use.

Love the product, however this Sidewinder was purchased to replace the same product which only lasted several years. Wish the product would last for more years.

All aspects are made of plastic, including internal components that can’t handle the water pressure long term.

Accpetable garage solution

Somewhat cheaply-made and cannot tolerate low temperatures, but low-cost suitable for use in the garage.

Holds 2 50 ‘ hoses just fine.

Solid product- like the removable reel, but lock disengages reel very easily- I taped mine in lock position.

Poor design

Quick connect feature cannot stay connected once the water is turned on. Returned with receipt the same week and customer service rep would only allow exchange for same product or an in store credit. Customer service was poor and full of unecessary attitude had to speak to a manager to get money back as did not want to replace with another hose reel with the same faulty design and no other reels fit what we were looking for. Was an overall poor experience. Good thing i had video of the reel blowing off the wall and spraying water to show manager to go along with other poor reviews. Husband is a carpenter with 20+years experience it was definitely not an installation issue.

Works okay for a plastic reel. I spray painted it to protect the plastic from the sun's rays so that the plastic will not deteriorate so quick. It will last longer outside with a coat of paint on it.

Wall mount is weak.

It didn't take long for the reel to break off the wall mount.
