6 Years in

I bought this for my remodeled kitchen and its just amazing. Professional look and feel and it works great. After 6 years of ownership, Thor's customer support and general assistance has been excellent. I have had a few minor issues with the griddle and the oven burner but they were easily repairable on both occasions. Part of me wants to remodel my kitchen again to get the new version of this stove but my wife would kill me. The build quality and parts quality seems high and the output on all the burners is great. I will say, I hate cleaning it but that would be with any stove this size/grade. 100% would purchase it again and It seems to be lasting well.

Never a problem, excellent performance

Purchased this six burner, 36 inch, gas model, ten years ago, and happy with it. Only the usual maintenance minimal repairs done. All self-done at a very low cost. I bought this when Thor first started in America and took a chance. Glad I did. I would buy it again.

Incredible Oven

I’ve used this oven and stove for over 2 weeks and it makes cooking so much more enjoyable and faster. I put in multiple pizzas in the oven to cook at once. I’ve been able to cook all my meat on the stove at once without waiting for one batch to be completed. The oven and stove cook at great temperatures and the food is wonderful. The range is absolutely beautiful too!

I purchased this range a few years back with hefty expectations and hopes based on the cost of the unit. Boy howdy was I let down!!! Overall fit and finish was acceptable aside from the dent in the kick cover we found upon unboxing. The cooktop works as it should and delivers plenty of BTU’s, only wish the front burners would go a bit bit lower as to simmer anything it has to be on the back burners. The griddle fluctuates so drastically in temperature that it is completely useless. Every time the burner for it shuts off the entire surface quickly looses heat and you find yourself playing a game of turning it up and up and up to maintain a cooking temp on the griddle. Honestly I tried to use it and figure out a system but ultimately it just ended up being wasted space on the cooktop, I haven’t used it in years. The kid left the oven door open once while grilling a chicken breast and by the time I had noticed what was going on the foil wrap on the controls had already wrinkled and melted. While she shouldn’t have left the door open while broiling I wouldn’t have expected the damage for the time they were exposed. Honestly if I could get a free gift I would love it to be an oven ignitor. I have had two instances, one on thanksgiving with a turkey and one on New Year’s Eve with a rib roast that the ignitor failed mid cooking process. If anyone needs an igitor replaced let me know after all of them I’ve had to do(at $60 a pop) I’ve got it down pat! If you are looking for an oven that looks good in a custom kitchen but don’t plan on actually using it, this might be for you, but if you do plan on using it I highly recommend spending the extra $$ and stepping up to one of the other more reputable makers. The ones that actually respect and take care of their customers and their investment.

Love My Complete Thor Set

OMG!!!!! I was the Red Knob Girl. However, my kitchen was totally renovated we purchased the complete package that included 48” Gas Range, Drawer Microwave, 48” Hood, 36” Refrigerator, & Dishwasher. I have received so many compliments on these appliances. Not only do they look phenomenal the work just as efficiently. Love you Thor.

Love my new Thor Range

Replacing a Samsung which was great when new. But a $900 mother board failed. My Thor is well made range without all the nonsense. It Cooks fabulous!! It Looks fabulous!! Thank you Thor

Fire Hazard

We purchased this oven in 2017. Last week we came into the house to a weird smell. Tracking it back to the oven we saw that the smaller oven's element was glowing red. The oven's knob was in the off position at the time. I tried turning the knob to see if it would have any change, and it did not. We shutoff the breaker to make sure it didn't happen again. I checked the temperature and the base of the oven was 700° and sidewalls were 550°. If we hadn't come in I believe this would have ended in a fire as there was no reason for the oven to be on, and the thermal overloads weren't doing their job either.

I am finally cooking with gas!

We have wanted a gas range for so long and finally had the opportunity when we remodeled our kitchen. This 48" dual fuel is exactly what we expected. 6 burners with varying BTU outputs, a high powered grill and 2 electric ovens. did I say 2 ovens? This is going to make holiday cooking a breeze. The stove top is easy to clean with removable grates and the oven racks slide effortlessly to easily access baking pans and prevent spillage of hot dishes when moving them in and out of the ovens. Individual interior oven lights are convienent as are the blue lights at the knobs, letting you know when the stoves get to the set temperature. The convection circulating fan in the large oven allows an added flexibility when cooking large & small meals All of this plus it is a beautiful addition to our new kitchen.

Waited a long time for this range!!

Purchased this Thor range a little over a month ago. I absolutely LOVE it. I wanted a good sturdy gas range without all the bells and whistles, which is difficult to find, and I got it. I am very pleased with its performance and I love how it looks in my kitchen. Thanks Thor….

oh my thor <3

We bought ours 5 months ago ( from Lowes: worse experience ever). I have been creating in the kitchen for DECADES and have never been this happy with a stove. This thing is a BEAST. I actually had to lower all my cooking times on the recipes I developed with my old oven, and I "thought" I had a fantastic stove, but was quickly schooled when we hooked this guy up. I have only the regret of not buying it sooner.

It came well packaged and on time. Love the burners. The big oven stayed at 500 when it was set at 500 during the burnoff stage. I wish they would use the type of warning stickers on the glass oven door that will peel off clean instead of tearing and leaving residue needing to be scraped or cleaned off with solvent. Sometimes its the little things that count. Just saying.

Thor appliance purchase

Overall happy with my appliances, other than the small issues we are having with the propane converted stove. Temperature calibration is off and the ovens use old school technology and can not be adjusted. Still on occasion get a sniff of raw propane , but can’t find the leak. The warranted repair personnel dispatched for warranted work all always in a rush, and have no idea how to work on the Thor product.

Bought this beautiful stove and full thor kitchen package for my new house , it’s so nice to be cooking with a gas stove again . I love how quickly the pans heat up and evenly cook my food , I’m enjoying the convection oven also . Beautiful looking and receive lots of compliments on this gorgeous stove. I bought it yesterday and hooked it up with no problems.Very nice product.Very stylish when you turn on a burner and the blue light lights up on top of the knob. Fires on burners are very strong. It was the last piece of my kitchen to put in and the range looks awesome and so does the kitchen.

[Rewarded Review] Nive Stove, slow customer service

I purchased this stove for over $5,000, and so far it is fine. However, the customer service is slow. When my stove arrived, it had an extra burner knob, but was missing a Griddle/Small Oven Knob. The Owner's Manual says to call a Customer Service department for missing or broken parts. The number for customer service in the manual is missing a number, but I was able to finally find it. When I called, I was told to file a claim on the Thor website. This seems like an easy fix, but after a week, I have not received a confirmation email even stating they have received my claim. I called Customer Service again, only to be put on hold and told the parts department was too busy. They took my number, and said they would get back to me. A simple knob should should be an easy fix, but I guess my expectations are too high after spending so much on the stove. I am selecting that I would recommend the stove, but I would be wary of the customer service.

We purchased this range as part of the whole Thor kitchen package. We had never heard of Thor appliances, but did some research and made the decision to purchase them for our new home. We are so glad we did. This range is wonderful. It makes cooking fun, and it's so easy to clean.
