Careful Curbs not same width

Tile Redi pans are great. But the double curb they just epoxy a piece on a regular standard curb. The curbs end up being to different widths

Absolute garbage

This is a $900 piece of styrofoam. When I opened the box, I thought they had accidentally forgotten to pack the shower base, but they hadn't. It is literally a piece of low quality styrofoam, which they are suggesting you mortar tiles to. I suppose they are hoping that in the rush of a renovation, enough people will just install this piece of junk to keep schedule. And honestly they only need a few people to do it, since they are, again, sending you a rectangular piece of styrofoam for NINE HUNDRED DOLLARS. This "shower base" epitomizes everything wrong with online shopping and the open door it creates for unscrupulous people.

Read a lot of reviews and "how to's" and found the negative reviews were due mostly to user (installer) error. The website and install instructions are not great, but I read a thread on filling the underside with mortar then setting onto a 1/4" trowled bed of mortar. I did just that and the pan is rock solid. I still have to tile it but I am happy with the install.

There is really no difference in price using this product over traditional methods of building up a shower floor. The only difference is ease if you are going the do-it-yourself route.
