Nice look, spacious and solid

Bought two of these for my office last year (dark brown), bought two more (linen) for our great room recently. We really like these bookshelves - they provide a lot of solid storage and look great at the same time. I think we have all the bookshelf space we need now, but we plan to start replacing some of our existing shelves with more of these.

Perfect

We ordered two Martin Toulouse bookcases to AZ. They arrived in a few weeks without any issues. One was perfect, the other had a small ding in the side (through the box) from shipping. The bookcases look absolutely perfect together. They're huge, solid, and three of the shelves are adjustable. My wife and I have been filling them all day with books and decorations we've had stuck in boxes for so long. The room feels instantly cozy now because of these book cases. We couldn't be happier.

Great bookcase

These are sturdy bookcases that hold a lot of books! We love that they are taller than standard options and they look terrific in our space. While sturdy, they aren't so heavy that we can't move them around on our own. A tasteful, functional piece for our home library.

Bookcase

We purchased the bookcase and found it to be highly sturdy. Would suggest anchoring to the wall if you purchase this item. It is very heavy and wouldn’t want it to fall on anyone. We are pleased with purchasing it.

Stunning!!!

These bookcases are absolutely stunning! Very durable and made with great craftsmanship! The ladder is a plus! I have the library bookcases I've always wanted. Harry Potter comes to mind!

Martin Furniture bookcasem

We are so pleased with the quality of this bookcase in addition to how attractive it is. What a wonderful find for our family room. It is a unique piece that compliments the rest of our furniture in that room. Love it.

Beautiful at first

We furnished our library/office with several of these beautiful shelves, we also have the matching desk. We were very excited because they look absolutely beautiful and totally make the room! My main complaint is that after one year all of the shelves are sagging! The shelves just have normal books on them and aren't overloaded or anything, so we're very disappointed that they are sagging for the price we paid they should last a little longer.

Bookshelves with Ladder

Bought 3 BOOKSELVES with LADDER. Over 8 feet tall and 96inches in length next to each other. Extremely sturdy, beautiful look . Highly recommend.

We ordered 3 bookcases for a new build. The delivery team was fantastic. Very professional. Bookcases were impressive. Looked so good that the project foreman may buy some himself. Can't wait to see them in place!

A good fit.

The Toulouse bookcases were so nice that I purchased two of them. My sales staff Boba Vidak was excellent. She made sure that I would be able to fit them in my house before I purchased them. The bookcases are 94 inches tall. I looked at the bookcases four times before I talked with Boba. She was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Great looking bookcase

Bought two, then bought two more. Only reason not a five star is the 30 pound limit per shelf. I have many books. The weight limit would be fine if all I had was paperback, but some nonfiction on better paper is pretty heavy. Otherwise, this product has my vote.

Toulouse 94-Inch Bookcase

The Toulouse 94-Inch bookcase is a great addition to any office. By adding a second or even third and pairing it with the Toulouse file cabinet or desk, it really brings the office together and creates a beautiful and functional work space.

Great bookcases, just need to be anchored

My wife adores these bookcases (we got two as well as the ladder, which is still on back order). This would be a 5 star review except the delivery people showed up literally at the last minute of the delivery window and finished outside of the window, and I had to have a neighbor receive the delivery. Apparently you have to specifically request that the bookcases be anchored into the wall to prevent tipping, which is a potential safety hazard. My neighbor didn’t know this and so the bookcases were not anchored even though we already have board on our wall for this very purpose (the previous owners of our home had these exact bookcases and took them when they moved). I will ask the next delivery crew to anchor using the parts provided when they deliver the ladder. If they do that, I’ll soon forget about the untimely delivery and lack of anchoring on the initial setup. The bookcases seem to be well constructed, substantial furniture and are quite attractive.

Very nice bookshelves

The bookshelves were better than expected. Beautiful, sturdy, and pre assembled. AFW had them delivered 3 days after I bought them. The delivery team was polite, professional, and very careful as they installed them. The price was a great bargain. Best deal I found on the internet. Thank you AFW.

Great look

I had been looking for this for a while but it was out of stock for months. We purchased 4 of these, 2 on either side of the fireplace in the family room, and they fit the nooks perfectly. They bolt together, we had to do some adjustments to the legs as well as add some felt pads to get them level. Also purchased a single ladder to complete the look, which actually has some weight to it - I initially thought it was wooden but it is metal. Overall, very happy with the bookshelves.

Pros: absolutely beautiful, and obviously well-made. . . Con: small wood stain inconsistency on the back of one of the cases (I bought two), and good lord you'd better have help if you want to get these up stairs (185 lbs each). . . Overall: I do recommend these. I'm already getting compliments on them, and they've only been in my Zoom background for 2 days!

Beautiful bookcase

I purchased two of these bookcases (and the accompanying ladder) for my library. I saw one in-store and immediately began making changes in my home to accommodate them. They are beautiful and well-made. I am very happy with the purchase and the look of my library. I spend more time there now because these bookcases make it such a beautiful space.
