Overall looks great! Installation was fairly straightforward although the chain links had to be bent open and then bent shut again to adjust the length of the chain, which took patience as to not scuff the finish. The chain links are very sturdy though! One of the sconces was a little bent, but bent back into the right position easily enough. Overall good value for the price.

Ok but was what we wanted to upgrade our fixture.

Was the right size over our 42 inch wide dining room table and a definite upgrade from our 17 year old brass and plastic dining room fixture. Put in dimmable LED bulbs.

We are very happy with this chandelier. Product is very sturdy, easy to install (for someone that knows what they are doing e.g. my husband), and looks beautiful in our breakfast room. It's amazing how different a room can look with new lighting. The only negative I have for Progress Lighting is the element that the shade and bulb fit into. The element is very rough and the fastener (which holds the shade) is hard to get started and then to turn (to fasten) on the rough, grooved element. Since there is not a lot of room for your fingers to get in to manipulate the fastener as it gets closer to the base, it gets frustrating trying to attach the shade. I would hope they would improve this feature because we really do like this product.

We just purchased the Progress light described above. It came within a week of purchase. We have installed it and like it very much with the exception of the shades. They are ok, but I would NOT describe them as white. They are a clear color frosted shade. (like a frosted window). Very plain. I wanted white shades like was described. I would buy a Progress light again. The description of shade color is misleading, however,
