Received open & dirty

When I received this sink the box was already open and the inside was dirty. For such an expensive sink this was disappointing. When I tried to return this sink I was told that I need to cover the shipping costs of return.

Quiet sides are real!

Sink is perfect, deep, quiet when placing items inside and drains nicely. Gentle shallow curved edges prevent food built up, and center drain makes it simple to wash food down the disposal.

I wouldn't know...horrible

When I placed my order, it said there was 1 sink available and it would be delivered in 5-10 business days. WRONG. I called at Day 10 and they said they would ship it out the next day. I opened the box when it finally arrived to ensure everything is good and IT IS THE WRONG SINK and DAMAGED. They totally screwed me over and now I need to delay my counter installation. I would NOT recommend Kohler if you are hoping for an easy process.

Best stainless steel sink ever-magic.

Best sink I've seen to date. Pricey, but well work it when you consider the very hard water in my area. It hasn't left spots to date. I'm thrilled with this product.

Happy to own this sink

We bought and installed this sink in May of 2021. Sink is to replace a builder-grade double sink. We are extremely happy with the Kohler K-5290 stainless steel sink. The 9" deep bowl accommodates all of our pot and pans for easy cleaning. Quality of the stainless steel material is excellent. Kohler should seriously consider improving upon the sound dampening qualities of the sink. We installed dampening wrap on the sink prior to install. Installation was quick and easy...just follow the instructions.

Quality Sink

Overall quality and fit of the sink is Excellent. Material is high quality 18-gauge stainless steel with basin is deeper than our previous sink. The finish of the sink is also Outstanding. My rating of "Good" is due to the cheap stick-on sound dampening material used by the manufacturer which had become unglued from the sink and laying loose in the box upon arrival. I chose to remove my the few remaining sound dampening pads and apply another brand of sound dampening material. Installation is not difficult, but plan out your materials and installation process. In the end, you ill enjoy a beautiful sink for many years.

We just had the sink installed 2 weeks ago. Looks great and feels very solid. I haven’t tried to “scratch” it Time will tell. But so far it’s exactly what we were looking for in an under mount sink. Probably could’ve gone with A cheaper sink. But we are in it for the long-haul....scratch free.

This sink is expensive but has a very high end look and comes with a very nice rack to keep pots and dishes off the bottom. I haven't tested the scratch resistance but based on the video I saw from Kohler I'm confident this sink has a high resistance to scratches. Coming from a cast iron porcelain sink I was worried the water hitting the steel basin would sound "tinny" but this is not the case. I would definitely recommend.
