What a disappointment

Hinge broke within five minutes of receiving.

The screen is very nice quality, but was a little short for my space. However, it was also missing all the parts. Handles, legs, screws. When I brought this to cashiers attention when returning, she was unfazed and it probably went back to stock….

First one came bent & ripped. Second one was missing the box of hardware. Ended up deciding it was too flimsy & got something else.

Overall, we like this fireplace screen. It completely covers the opening of our fireplace and its feet are stable. My only observation is that the right side door is not perfectly straight and doesn't open smoothly. You have to finesse the door to get it to close nicely and then get the magnet to stick.

Off balance.

This fireplace screen arrived with all of the necessary parts and was easy and quick to assemble. It looks great and works well. The only reason I gave the screen 4 stars instead of 5 is that the left door closure at the bottom was not as tight and a bit off alignment with the right door. It is not concerning enough to return but enough to be watchful when there is a fire in the fireplace.

We decided we wanted a flush screen in lieu of the traditional hinged one. We decided to give this one a try! It looks like we had one made for our fireplace.

Doors are crooked, won't stay shut

Easy enough to put the feet on, but the right door won't stay shut at the bottom. It's like the door itself is crooked. I have two of these and they both exhibit the same issue. Also, these handles get HOT.

Like it but damaged

The right door will not close completely at the bottom and leaves a big gap. Either the frame is bent or the door itself. So frustrating to have to return to HD and reorder. Quality inspections would be nice before you ship it to the customer !!!
