Do not buy

It was very difficult to find someone who was able to install this door—Home Depot did not help, and most contractors were unwilling to install a door of this style. The contractor we finally found who could install the door said it was very difficult and took all day. The instructions were not clear and were not accurate about which way the door was supposed to open. The instructions also mentioned a bracket for the glass wall that wasn't included in the box. Our shower opening is on the wider side of this range which means that the glass wall is barely supported, and our contractor warned us that we won't be able to put any weight on it or it is likely to give out. This door feels like a waste of many hundreds of dollars. Our money would have been far better spent on a custom door.

As others have said, the installation instructions are not the best. If you take your time and study the instructions, you'll be ok. I also watched some on-line video's. Dreamline did not have anything helpful in the way of videos and some of the utube stuff were examples of NOT how to do things (but helpful in that respect). I did the installation by myself, but having two people would definitely be a plus. Either way, get some glass handling suction cups - a must! I bought some on Home Essentials Direct for around $20. My biggest problem was that I put WAY too much silicone in the channels for the stationary panel, and then couldn't get the panel to fit vertically or horizontally. Had to take the panel out and remove some of the caulk. What a mess, silicone everywhere! But the finished product is beautiful. Highly recommend these shower doors.

I purchased this door through another vendor. Yes, It can be installed by a DIY, however the most critical part of the installation are measure, measure, measure, and ensure your threshold is 100 percent level, not close it must be level. If you take in this task on, without a doubt by a set of Glass Suction Cups, I think 17.00 for a pair, worth ever penny to move the door around. You will need to dry set the door a couple of times. Under no circumstances do not set the glass on a tile floor without the protectors. A quality drill and a good diamond tile bit you should be fine. I did not drill into the threshold I used epoxy to set the bottom track of the fixed panel. Last, a helper is needed.

We recently built a home and had a walk in shower put in, but it didn't come with a shower door. This was the right price, size, and look we wanted for our bathroom. The satin black looks great and all of the right pieces came with a quick delivery. There are extra parts as well in the case you need them. The only negative I had with this purchase was getting it installed. You can do it yourself if you know how to drill into marble/bathroom tile, but I lack that knowledge. I found out later that Overstock offers installation options which I would recommend taking advantage of because their resources are better priced than other installers. Overall I am very satisfied with this stressful purchase and would purchase this exact product again if I need another shower door. I'll add photos when I find the time.
