mine leaks too

Had my bathroom remodeled by a contractor just over a year ago-I have a Kohler Sterling tub/shower combo, Kohler sink and faucet, and Kohler shower hand held and tub spout. I got this tub spout, in black matte for it's looks and to match my Kohler bathroom sink faucet. This tub spout on the is leaking on the underside, where the spout meets the square part that attaches to the shower wall. I am extremely disappointed in this product.I've been a Kohler user for decades. What has happened to the quality of your products?

Absolutely Horrible

Went for this product do to modern look and it literally fell right off the wall after only 5 uses and water was going into hole where the pipe is and has now leaked through into my dining room and now I have to replace my dining room ceiling.

Tub Spout will not stay in place

Like many others, i purchased this for a remodel I was doing on my home. i picked this faucet package due to the look. The tub spout came away from the wall while we were still in the middle of the remodel and flooded my downstairs closet. Luckily we were doing the remodel in stages and we already had to pull the drywall in the closet to replumb the master shower. We had our plumber come out two more times for this tub spout and then I had another plumber come and install the tub faucet with a replacement from Kohler and it was installed according to the installation instructions exactly. My husband and I are both in construction and we were both there when the second plumber came to fix this tub spout, so we know it was done correctly. Kohler is a great brand and makes some very high quality products. This is NOT one of them. I just paid a lot of money to replumb the bathroom and now I'm going to have another spout with diverter installed that now won't match my brand new bathroom so I don't flood out my home again and ruin my brand new wood floors. This is not a product that should still be for sale and with all of these reviews stating the same thing, it is very frustrating. I wish all of these reviews and this product were pulled a while ago, that way I could have selected a different package line for my bathroom.

Color Chipped

Black finish chipped after a few weeks. Would absolutely not recommend

Great design But….Diverter does not work,matt paint comes off, revealing chrome finish underneath, very flimsy

Great looking spout BUT…as soon as it was installed I had to order replacement parts since the diverter did not work.

Parrallel tub spout disconnects from wall and leaks water behind wall. Flooded our house

6 weeks ago we installed the Parallel integrated tub spout. Fast forward to last week, the spout became disconnected from the wall and the water ran behind our wall downstairs flooding all the way down to our basement. Our ceiling was ruined, our couch, drywall. Now we have a HUGE claim with our insurance company and need to do exploratory opening of walls to ensure the insultation isnt soaking. SHAME ON YOU Kohler. Also there are MANY reviews that are stating the SAME issue. Disconnects from wall and causes flooding of the house

Matte Back finish issues

Purchased all Kohler for our home remodel. The spout finish in matte black is flaking and peeling off and is just now out of warranty (item was purchased mid 2021 and installed January 2022). I bought all Kohler so issues like this would not arise. I am extremely disappointed.

We bought all Kohler for bathrooms and kitchen so issues like this would not arise. I am extremely disappointed as this is a defect from the factory.

Nice looking product but won't stay on the wall

I had this installed by my plumber and it loosened up and water got behind my wall. I took it back and got another. Again, my plumber installed. It's loose again after two months.

Poorly designed - loosens up from wall again and again

Regardless of how tight you make the set screw the tub spout loosens up and comes off the wall. Water then shoots behind the wall. This is the second time it has damaged my ceiling from water getting behind the wall

Looks awesome, but very unstable

Purchased as part of our bath remodel, and aesthetically it is great. However, from first use it has been hard to keep stable. The screw underneath, which is supposed to lock it to the waterline, loosens almost immediately so that normal water pressure pushes it away from wall. The aerator/screen insert and tightening wrench are non-standard and impossible to find to buy, so very difficult to take out and clean or replace.

Looks great but super flimsy

Recently bought this tub/ shower package in modern vibrant brass. My wife and I love the look of it. The shower tub spout diverter felt great , BUT it’s already wobbly and coming offf the wall. Directions followed to the T and installed by a master plumber. Very disappointed

Design is great, but it's very flimsy!

My contractor followed the instructions to the T. When mounted and the set screw tightened the spout is very loose and unstable. Disappointed.
