The Lock is difficult to open. Both keys stick and hard to operate. Tried WD 40 which help a little but it’s still a struggle.

Unit was not as sturdy as I would have liked for the high cost. Additionally, the lock cylinder is defective. Keys get stuck and lock is difficult to engage and disengage, making it tedious to open and close the door below when retrieving packages.

Nicely made and a decent deterrent to would be walk-by-thieves but two comments: if too many packages are placed inside and pile up, the interior security flap is held open making it easy to reach in and take things out. And the lock is pretty small and looks as if it could be broken easily.

Installation of the dVault was easy with concrete bolts. The dVault came with a mail carrier box to make it easier to carry in the packages and mail. The locking mechanism works smoothly and the access door is difficult to force open.
DHL, FED EX and UPS - cannot legally use this box! Waste of money.
Unfortunately, we learned the hard way, we kept noticing that even though we put easy-to-see delivery instructions for DHL, UPS and FED EX, they kept throwing our expensive packages on the floor - right in front of the box! I called DHL and supposedly, there is some dumb law that states only the post office (USPS) has federal rights to all mail boxes. Can you believe that non-sense?! We have been telling the mail carriers in person to please use the box, and even the friggin' USPS workers don't even use it! We get 5-7 deliveries of expensive packages per day from all different mail carriers and we've had this box for two weeks and only on two occasions has a delivery person used it!!! I am so angry we wasted money on this! It's hard to get a refund because it was delivered on a freight truck fully assembled and is almost 100lbs!
Very nice.
We really like this mail box. The only downfall is that there is no outgoing mail areas. Works fine for us.
