Beautiful! Better than I expected.

The fixture is beautiful, but the instructions for its installation were very poor. My husband, who is extremely handy, was sputtering the whole time he put it up. One thing that I would improve about the light however, is that it only requires one bulb, and the positioning of that bulb makes the light shine through on one side more than another so that the other side looks darker, and the glow emitted is not balanced. My OCD nature does not like this, but my husband made such an effort to get the darn things installed that I don't have the heart to replace it!

Light fixture is beautiful...exactly as described. Well made, substantial, decorative painting carefully done. Be aware that this a fairly large fixture and requires ample space to be in scale with a wall. Made sure you look at the dimensions in the specifications. It is nor old world in appearance, rather more Tuscan. Ornate...with out glitz. I ordered 4 of these sconces for a new addition...a 1000 square great room, with high ceilings and a very large fireplace. The interior walls are brick and Tennessee stone. It took me forever to decide and I am not disappointed. Best to be installed by electrician.

Beautiful Fixtures

These lights were installed in my dining room and Master Bedroom area and I am very please with the look and quality of these sconces. They really make the rooms look regal.
