one of the holes on the ring didnt line up with the screw
Great light, but cheap looking gold paint
I was keeping my eye on this light for a long time, finally bought it to go with my traditional Tuscan / Roman styled bathroom remodel. I liked the light when it came, but I was dissapointed in that the ornamental leafs have this real cheesy looking gold paint. Very bright and yellow. It would have been better to just have the whole thing painted an aged bronze look. I'm.probably going to take some touch up paint and paint over that nasty gold paint. Overall I like the light and the lamp. It was easy to install and sturdy. I like the antique looking glass shades.
Nice -- but handle carefully
Perfect for the 14-foot-high main staircase landing in our 1901 transitional Victorian. Design is excellent for late Victorian house Finish scratches off easily; awkward to install
