poor description
This is a beautiful spout that deserves 5 stars. However, I believe it is a slip on (not universal) spout. The installation instruction is completely wrong. I have to remove the spout nipple and install a copper pipe.

Only a few tub spout that is made of metal
It's so hard to to find a tub spout that is not made of plastic. This one is an exception- could have been cheaper- this not made of brass.

Nice slip on spout with diverter.
Only been installed for a day but so far so good. Easy installation. Its a slip fit only, so the adapter cant be removed. Its glued in tight. Just slip on a 1/2 copper pipe about 3 long from the shower wall.

On October 9, 2018, I wrote a review and gave this product 1 star. It turns out that the dripping problem was caused by my inability to pull the diverter all the way up. I don't really know why that happened. After a few days, I was able to pull the diverter all the way up and the dripping stopped. So, to be fair, I need to amend my previous review to reflect that I am now satisfied with this product and I would recommend it.

I just had this tub spout installed because the old one dripped a lot of water and I was told that I needed a new spout. Well, this one driips, not as much, but enough to be a nuisance. I spoke with Delta customer service and was told that pull up diverters do not stop all the water from dripping from spout while shower is on. I think that Delta and Home Depot should prominently print that information in the description of this product. I intend to return this spout and get something different.
