Perfect light at great price

Installed these light fixtures in a basement with a low ceiling height. They did an amazing job of creating a brighter space. The low profile means that they did not hang down too far, while the light from the sides helped to wash the ceiling with light.

Great inexpensive slim LED ceiling light

For an inexpensive LED fixture this light is great. I like the look of the corner/shoulder detail on the diffuser and the light is pretty slim for its size. Its quite bright and you can add a dimmer if you want. It is made of plastic but felt well made. Being LED you should not have to touch it for a long time. The light came with all the hardware needed and I like the 3000k warm tone

Burned out in about 1 year. Unfortunately did not keep paperwork on this light and so now I cannot get it replaced under warranty. Bought two of them. Other one is still working (fingers crossed). Wish I could make good on warranty!!

11 Inch Round 3000K LED Fixture

The cooler 4000K fixture was stocked in stores. However I prefer the warmer 3000K (only available online), so I ordered it online & the product was shipped from Georgia USA & I picked it up in nearest store within 2 weeks. Installation: a 2nd hand would be useful especially at the wiring stage. In my case, I used a loose string to attach the base (via a hole) to the bracket and wired from there. All other reviewers mentionned installation in hallways and walk-in closets. I installed them in (4) different bedrooms whose area was between 85 square feet and 135 sq.ft. with 8 foot height ceiling. It was perfectly bright for reading & doing school homework. Note: the upper portion of the walls (1/3 of wall areas) was lit only at 75%, and the ceilings were lit at 50% only. That is totally normal due to the shape of the lamps, but that does not bother me at all.

Got home, found that the ROUND unit cannot be mounted because 1) the mounting holes are too widely spaced, and 2) they DO NOT supply the mounting bar needed for a standard ceiling box. The SQUARE unit (same LEDs but different shape) does include the mounting bar adapter. So, i called Lithonia, talking them through their instructions. The instructions specifically say on page 2- the bar is not included with the round unit but is included with the square. Lithonia ended up responding after a week: "Sorry, we do not have any parts to assist you". It took 2 sets of calls, 5 different people. No help. The person at the customer service desk at Home Depot helped out by giving me the necessary brackets. So, a NO recommendation on the round light, BUT seriously good kudos to the Home Depot people.

This is a simple light nothing fancy or designer about it. The simple plastic lens diffuses the light perfectly, there aren't any dark spots. Installation is simple with the provided mounting bracket that allows for different thickness ceilings. The light base with LEDs connects to the mounting post with one nut, simple. There are 2 clips that hold the lens to the base for a finished look. We put this in our walk in closet and it's amazing all the clothes we found.

It's lightweight and easy to mount and install. Nothing fancy, but has a nice clean look and low profile. The area of light spreads evenly and it doesn't blind you when glancing directly at it. Nice clean, basic form but highly functional. With the very long expected life of the LED, it's a case of install it and forget it. It's both economical and looks great!

This is an excellent light fixture! It comes with enough parts to cover almost all installations (see fig. 1). All the wires come stripped plus the 2 power wires are tinned. The ground wire is not. The light and it's lens are very clean and there are 2 really, really convenient lens latches (see fig. 2) that make it very simple to install the lens once the fixture is installed.

This is a slim, simple, round ceiling light that gives 1100 lumens of 3000K Bright Light. It’s also available in 4000K Cool White. It’s slim, just 2½” top to bottom, 11½” in diameter. It’s easy to install: just remove your existing light, or screw onto your junction box the supplied bar with a center threaded hole for the supplied 1/4” threaded pipe that holds up the new ceiling light. Thread the pipe into the hole. Put the ceiling light, cover off, onto the pipe. Put on the supplied washer, then the supplied knurled nut. Make it finger tight, and the ceiling light is installed. Connect the black and the white wire with the supplied wire nuts and the green grounding wire to your junction box. Put the plastic cover onto the ceiling light, and you’re set. The fixture is light weight, just a pound. The acrylic cover cleans easily with a damp paper towel. It gives a brighter light than a slightly larger 14” diameter round fluorescent light with two bulbs, as much light as two 60-watt incandescent bulbs. This LED light comes on instantly, is dimmable, uses half the electricity of a fluorescent light and 1/6 the electricity of incandescent bulbs, gives off no heat, doesn't hum, and will last 50,000 hours, eliminating bulb changing. This is a handy, attractive and efficient light.
