I replaced old Armstrong tile that were much more rigid and stronger compared to what I call the new tissue title. Very brittle and fragile. would not recommend.

I needed 40 tiles and luckily everyone was good. 40 tiles come in a box. I painted them a goldish color to replicate the look of a tin ceiling. I stapled them up. They connected efficiently.

Very frustrated. Ordered 3 boxes. 1/2 of one box was all dented thanks to the delivery man. These are extremely delicate and damage VERY easily. If you have never used these, pick a different option.

The tiles are not uniform in size. The difference appearsnegligible, but when you are working with a grid it adds up and you have to decide whether to misalign the pattern or leave noticeable gaps between the tiles

Tiles were easy to install. The issue I had was with the tiles themselves. primer surface had some chips; material is VERY soft and easy to damage; not all edges had the same profile, causing high spots on some joint lines. Not the first time installing Armstrong tiles, previous tiles (from 10 yrs ago) were better.

Save yourself a headache and frustration and stay clear unless you want to measure evrey tile and discard odd sizes.

Horrible experience. They are supposed to be seamless looking but vary in size by up to 1/8". I thought I was crazy trying to install and could not keep tiles lined up. I put a tape on then and AHAAA! We this will never work. Returned them all. I got huge inconsistent size variations. Also, tiles are way weaker than old tiles we took down. These can break just taking out of the box. Terrible product!

The original Armstrong track system for installing these made it easy to replace them after the original tiles were ruined by a plumbing leak. I painted these with a metallic copper paint so they look like an awesome metal roof. I am happy but these would be better if 1) they were a little less brittle. 2) the warranty was not voided by painting them 3) these were available in a metallic finish, saving me the hassle of painting them.
