excellent trash can
This trash can is perfect. it opens and starts open long enough to put your trash in it! It also is big enough to get a full bag of trash instead of a slightly less than full bag! when you change the bag you don't have to fight a lid and the trash bags for the can perfectly, doesn't seem to matter what brand used. We've used generic tall kitchen bags and glad and both work beautifully. The inner collar doesn't cut into the bag either which is a definite improvement over our previous trash can.

scared my dog, he got a little nosey with it and it popped open, he ran in place for a half a minute trying to get away from it.

We love this! The lid stays on secure and has a quick motion response time for open and stays open just long enough!
Weird
I dislike where the batteries are located. It makes it hard to wash the lid. Also, every time anyone walks by the garbage can the lid opens. This is annoying.
Very Bad Description
The description says this trash can is made of stainless steel. IT IS NOT STAINLESS STEEL, IT'S PLASTIC! This should have been priced at $20-25, not $50. False advertising, bad description, overpriced!!

Totally non-functional. It did not work even once. Batteries were installed properly. The sensor on the side just did not work.
