Came broken but good quality

The glass brew basket on the machine came broken, but the machine is high quality. Still waiting on customer service to get back to me about sending me a replacement.

Hamilton Beach Pour Over Coffee Maker brews the “Best tasting coffee”!!

Doesn't calculate the water to coffee correctly.

Nice idea, but the programing is difficult to use (instructions leave out a lot). Everything needs to be programed at one time or you will have to start over again. The grams of ground coffee to water ratio was way off. I knew I was adding too much coffee, but went with the machine's calculations. The final product was too strong and only made 3 cups instead of the programmed 4 cups.

I am amazed with the coffee that is brewed from this coffee maker. I am extremely picky when it come to all things coffee. It brews some of the best tasting coffee I have ever made at home. This coffee maker is easy to use. It took me a bit of time to figure out the digital panel. Once you learn that panel, it is extremely easy to use. I like that there is a water filter in the tank. It makes a difference in the taste of the coffee it brews and allows me to use water from the tap. I love that I can adjust the brewing to my own personal taste. You can adjust the amount of cups, brew strength, temperature and automatic or manual pour over brewing. I also liked the built-in scale so I do not have to guess how much coffee I really need. This is a very nice looking coffee maker. It has a unique, modern look and looks great on the counter. I also love the clear tank that lights up. I liked watching the coffee brew. I highly recommend this coffee maker to all coffee lovers.

This works really great. I really like how you can change the flavor of the coffee by measuring the weight. I was nerves about the all glass craft, but it turned out to be great. This maker works really fast and makes the flavor so much better.

Easy to use. First time having pour over coffee and I enjoyed it. Expensive looking coffee brewer. I like that it has two temperatures for the water. Automatic turn off is a plus. Definitely a must have in your home.

[Rewarded Review] Coffee tastes great but big learning curve

This pour-over coffee maker really does make a great tasting cup of coffee. It only needs about half the amount of grounds needed for a regular drip coffee maker. I had a tough time figuring out how to navigate the digital settings and I know my senior parents would have needed help. Set aside a good chunk of time to setup and make the first brew. Once over the learning curve, it gets much easier.

If you enjoy drinking coffee from your favorite coffee shop, then you’re going to love this coffee maker. I’ve had a basic, traditional coffee maker for years now and decided that it was time for an upgrade. I love that this coffee maker allows me to make customized coffee just the way I like it without having to leave home. I can easily control the temperature and strength of my coffee all with just a touch on the easy to use display panel. Brewing coffee is very easy and can either be brewed instantly or programmed to brew later. I also love the option to brew my coffee manually if I like. It has an integrated scale that measures coffee for just the right coffee/water ratio. Cleanup is very easy as well. I clean all of the removable parts by hand, and follow the instruction manual directions for cleaning the inside of the coffee maker. My only complaint is that the water reservoir isn’t removable for cleaning. Other than that, this is a really well made, high quality coffee maker that I recommend to everyone.

My mom loves that it lights up, and it's fun to watch the coffee drip. It does make a really good cup of coffee. Can be a little loud compared to a normal coffeemaker, but is so worth it. I do wish it came in some other colors. A really bright color would be fun!

Wow! Thank you Hamilton beach! I love pour over coffee, it is just better. But right now I'm in a place in my life (two little kids) where I don't have time to stand around brewing the perfect Chemex. This coffee maker makes it easy! It has a built in scale for grounds, has a bloom option, and saves your perfect settings to brew easily or even schedule ahead of time. This coffee maker also looks really, really good! If you have a special bag of beans you want to do your own pour over for you can do that too! Other reviewers have said the machine is not intuitive-I disagree! But then again, I'm good with technology, so just make sure to read the directions first!

[Rewarded Review] Amazing coffee once you get used to using it!

So I was really excited to try the Hamilton Beach 8 Cup Convenient Craft Pour Over coffee maker, but I admit I was a little intimidated by how complicated it sounded. So many features and functions, it sounded like it may take me forever to figure out. Good news is, it wasn't really complicated at all and I figured it all out very quickly! Even better news, is that it truly makes some of the most flavorful, delicious coffee I've ever made from home! I liked the features of this maker and the ability to really customize your brew to your liking! Being able to adjust the brew strength, water temperature and even turn on or off the bloom are all settings you have the ability to control! The most complicated part of operating this machine was getting used to setting it. For reference, once you press a button to start it, it will wait 4 seconds before advancing to the next setting. During this 4 seconds, you can switch the current setting by pressing the select button to change the selection (bloom on to off for example). If you do not press any button during that 4 seconds, it cycles to the next setting and the process repeats until you come to the section where you add your coffee grounds. This time, you press the scale icon if you wish to use the scale feature that weighs the perfect amount of grounds for your cup amount selection. It will give you a number and as you slowly add the coffee grounds, it counts down until it reaches 0. Once you get use to how this machine cycles through the settings, it's very easy to use! I also love that if you're using the same settings everyday, you only have to press a couple buttons and you can basically just let the machine cycle through the rest of them. The glass parts on this are great and the top part that the filter sits in is extremely thick and heavy duty! I wish the coffee pot itself was a little thicker, because I'm nervous I'll accidentally hit it on my counter one day, but I love that the glass cleans so easily and is dishwasher safe. The coffee warmer function also has an auto shut off after so long and can also manually be switched on or off by pressing the "keep warm" button. This is definitely an amazing machine and perfect for serious coffee lovers!

First off, love the look of this coffee maker. It has such a modern, sleek look, looks great on my counter. This was my first time brewing with a pour over coffee machine, I wasn't a fan of it but that was the coffee I used, and not the machine. It brewed wonderfully. The coffee was piping hot and bold (like, I set it for). I was trying a new brand of coffee and was not o fan of that. I love having the option to self pour or let the machine do the "pouring ". Would definitely recommend if you are a coffee fanatic!
