Not recommended for any living area

Looks cheap. Based on Home Depot specifications I expected an aluminum fixture. There is some aluminum, but this is mostly plastic that will wear out before your house. It cannot be repaired. Think of it like a smoke alarm. Quality is poor. Threaded pieces sometimes work smoothly, other times they don't. They easily cross thread. The tiny set screw is junk and simply fell off after the fixture was installed. Even the wire nuts were second-rate.
