Great so far, except…

This is a great product and my daughter loves it. However, when I read that it plays music, I didn’t realize that meant you have to hook your phone or mp3 player up to it using an aux cord (supplied). I have an iPhone 8 which does not have an aux/headphone port. So, after opening the gift and hooking it up to show my daughter, I had to get on Amazon to purchase an adapter that would allow me to plug the aux cord into my phone. It just prolonged my ability to really show my daughter what this product does. Hence the four stars. It should have been fully explained in the Walmart listing in my opinion.

Almost like the picture

Item arrived with a jingle sound, one of the screws popped off but it was easily put back together. Perfect for calming special needs kiddo. There’s the color attached above, a white/ grey color that is very subtle, then a blue changes to green color, which is good to have options. It does make a “clicking “ sound with the Motion moving, but nothing that is enough to return it. I’d recommend this product.

Really cool

Got this for my son who’s on the spectrum and a sensory seeker. The unit itself feels a little cheaply made but the wave it projects look really cool and my son loves it! Would buy again

Bought as a Christmas gift for my severely autistic granddaughter. I am unable to say how well it works.

Only half works...music feature doesn't work, but the water effect is pretty

Cons: The price isn't fitting the quality. There is an aux cord that came with it and the Amazon listing details mention music compatibility. However, I plugged in the aux cord to play sleep music for my son and was disappointed to find out the speaker doesn't work. When the light rotates to make the water projection effect it makes a squeaking noise (I thought it was a cricket sound effect). The cricket noise is actually a positive because it is kind of peaceful - at the same time, for something that costs as much as this does, it shouldn't have defects. It's cheaply built and feels like paperweight.

Decent for a sensory lamp.

Bought this to use as a sensory lamp for a child who really enjoys the sight of water reflections on the ceiling. It is good in that is what it claims to be- but, I wouldn't say it's something special. Has various colors for lights and the projection DOES look like water... However, the motor inside rotates such that it isn't a smooth projection that looks like the surface of water being reflected- there is a slight jerking as it reaches a certain point each time. Furthermore, the plastic is hard and durable but the lamp seems to be very "cheap" in that sense. Haven't tried the remote control or the sound feature, I simply bought it for the lamp. Overall an okay purchase.

This light shines bright.

Product works well. It has a calming effect which has worked well with my autistic son.

Soothing lights.

Easy to use and portable so we can take it with us on vacation. Soothing lights and can plug into a cellphone for music.

Not worth it

There is no remote control so idk why that’s an option to review. The lights are beautiful but it’s VERY noisy. Also when i purchased i thought it would play sounds like nature or ocean etc and it doesn’t. The noise comes from the light inside spinning to give the water effect. It’s so loud my kids can’t sleep. My son who has autism is scared to sleep because he says the screeching noise sounds like a monster. My 5yr old daughter says the noise is creepy. My baby just can’t sleep from the noise.

Good for kiddos who are afraid of the dark

It was supposed to have a remote control? I?didn't get one. That would have been a huge plus however the light works good but does not hook up to cell for music as advertised. So that's why. I gave it a 3 for value for the money. I use it for my grandaughters who are afraid of the dark.

Feels cheaply made but works for the mean time, I will let you know how long it lasts also only has green blue white and green and blue mix no other colors . My son loves watching the waves

Same quality as cheaper versions

The lights are nice. I like that this one only rotates thrpugh calming colors. If you're trying to decide whether this is better than the $15 black ones, they're not. They are exactly the same besides color selection.

Please improve this great little light

I’m sad to say that this could be better. It does it’s main function of lighting up the room. I am giving this a three star because the COORD is too short, it’s noisy and you can’t control a timer. It takes my kiddo more time to fall asleep and this shuts off too soon.

This doesn’t have soothing sounds in it. You’d have to use your mp3 or other device.

I love the color and motion options. I also like the self timer. I thought this night light also had comforting noises. It does not. I really wanted a device with rain, heartbeat, white noise, ocean sounds ect.... For the price I expected more.

I bought this for my niece who is autistic. She absolutely loves the calming colors and mood this light sets. Well worth my money!!

Brought joy

I got this for my autistic nephew as a Christmas gift. He’s not very verbal but he loves this light! Sits/lays and stares at it with a big grin on his face.

Our clients love the Light Projector

At BCM Innovative Therapies we have a small room we have painted with soothing colors which has a fish mural to give the effect of being in the water. Sensory Rooms are very expensive to develop, but this light projector was a perfect addition to help our children who have Autism and sensory processing disorders. The cost was reasonable. We love that music can be played through it as well.

Great for relaxing.

Lots of fun and mesmerizing too. Great way to relax. Plus it was fun to watch the cats freak out. I price is right and the product is top quality.
