You sent it to me 3 times in an unpadded box. Broken to bits every time. Why even sell it if you don’t pack it correctly. I had kind people help me and some total jerks help or rather not help help me in this process. Now I have all the other pieces for the sink but not the right sink. Don’t have an online business if you don’t plan to take it seriously.

Gilford Sink

Beautiful sink but be sure to get the bottom wire rack to protect it in case you drop a heavy pan on it. I had one previously that cracked for some reason. I would not recommend a garbage disposal in this sink since vibrations may cause cracking. I love how it looks in my country kitchen. It's the focal point and I get so many compliments!

beautiful but did not perform

I have had this sink for approximately 4.1/2 years. I loved the look was exactly what I was looking for esthetically. Unfortunately the sink cracked and leaked straight through. I was told the only thing available to me was to purchase another at full price. One year warranty only. Why only 1 year warranty for a sink thats suppose to last for longer. do not feel like they are standing behind this product. Very disappointed with with the customer care. I would not buy this sink unless you don't plan on using it all. Just for a look.

12 years and still strong

I built my house 12 years ago and this sink was installed. Everyone that comes over admires this sink. It's unique and beautiful. I have replaced the rack about twice as it wears out but its worth it. Otherwise, the sink looks brand new. I am moving and am in the process of building another house and plan to use the same sink.

Top mount

This sink did not meet my expectations. It was not as thick as I would have hoped. I ended up returning this sink and purchasing a ceramic glazed Kohler sink which I absolutely loved. Also note, that this is a top mount sink which is not great for cleaning countertop right into sink.

This sink looks beautiful and has plenty of space for the lazy person who wants to let it fill up a bit. I’d recommend getting the insert for the bottom to make sure it doesn’t get scratched. Garbage disposal hook up was just as easy as any other sink.

I love the style, am crazy for it. However, I will not install a garbage disposer, as I'm afraid the vibrations will eventually cause a crack in the sink to develop, as has happened to others.

We installed this sink in 2003, and it then cost less than half of what it costs, now. Granted, that was 15 years ago, and this style of sink is now very popular. To me, it's just a sink. To my wife, it is a highlight of the kitchen. But, I must now replace it. Recently, the sink developed a crack from back of the bowl to the front, then up the apron to the top. No one remembers dropping anything into the sink to cause the crack. The sink is made of vitreous china, so cracking is not an unrealistic possibility. The crack started small, near the middle of the bowl, and grew until it reached its current size. The crack became a problem when water began to seep through the crack, and dripped into the under-sink cabinet. To stop the leak, I apply epoxy to the crack and replace the epoxy every 3-4 weeks. This is much cheaper than replacing the sink. Remember, it's just a sink. However, we are now doing other updates to the kitchen, and the old sink must be replaced by a new sink of the same model, according to the wife. (She is tired of looking at the epoxy scar in the sink, although it doesn't bother me.)

Best sink ever...

Installation of this sink requires an imaginative design and it is difficult to find appropriate faucets, but it is a wonderful, big sink that prevents splashing on the countertops by virtue of its design. I have had mine in a busy kitchen for 10 years. One of the best things in my kitchen reno.

A glorious sink

I've had this sink for about 5 or six years now; superb sink for a farmhouse kind of look. Practically keeps itself clean and the high back means that the water you spray around the interior pretty much stays in the sink all the time. The only difficulty is finding faucets that fit. The one that they suggest is really utilitarian looking; I ended up using an Herbeau bathtub fixture. Wall mounts extend too far out, and you would have difficulty getting a big pot in the sink, so don't do that. No chips--but I'm not throwing cast iron skillets around, either.

Great Sink

We renovated a 1918 NC farm house and used this sink. We have been using it for 10 years in a kitchen with 2 teenagers and it is great! Highly recommend it. I would also recommend getting the bottom rack that goes in the sink. Still looks beautiful 10 years later and great for big pots and pans. I am on this website looking for a replacement bottom rack and thought I would write this!
