This machine is flimsy. It is not sturdy enough to power through a quilt. It drops stitches, and the bobbin thread continuously wads up. It took the joy out of sewing every time I used it.

Great machine. Just what I needed for a second Brother.

I have used this to make a few smaller quilted items. It is a very good beginner machine for doing simple regular machine quilting. With the included walking foot or the quilting foot, you can even do some free motion quilting. I find the walking foot easier to use and give even stitches, but I need more practice using the quilting foot.

disappointed in this product

I had a problem with any thread being tangled around the take up lever, this was the second machine that had that problem. They replaced the first one, but since I had had the machine over 2 years they did not replace it the second time. Other than this major problem, I enjoyed the machine. I probably will not be getting another Brother machine.

Such an amazing machine! This is my first purchase! My first machine is a manual one that was passed down from my neighbour but this is a very high tech machine, very impressed.

A nice machine, however it's not for heavy fabrics. The sew steady table that was included does not stay steady! It has to be tightened and/or adjusted every few minutes while in use.

I purchased my Brothers CS7205 about 3 months ago. I love it!!! All the " bells & whistles" I never knew a sewing machine had so many fancy settings!

My first Brother machine

I have only had my Brother machine for a few short weeks. I purchased it as a backup machine and also to take to quilting retreats as it only weighs about 10 1/2 pounds. It saves me from having to take my heavy machine out of my sewing table. So far I am quite happy with the performance of this machine. Not having ever owned a Brother, I was a little intimidated on learning a new machine, but once I got started, it was very easy to thread and wind bobbins. It sews very smoothly. I will mostly use it for quilting, but like the idea of the decorative stitches for anything else I will be sewing.

A great sewing machine that I'd buy again. Even stitching on even heavy fabrics. Easy to thread. Nice collection of decorative stitches, it will write text and good collection of presser feet. My only complaint is that reversal of stitches is somewhat difficult, i.e., it does not always reverse. But for the price it is a winner.

Very disappointed

Your machine and your customer service is very bad. I bought my machine about 8 months ago and it has already quilt working right. I contacted you and you did nothing. I was just told to take it to a repair shop. But you will not cover the repairs. I will not recommend one of your machines to anyone. I would give this a minus 1 in a review

Awwsome Machine!

Well designed

I am just getting back to sewing now that I am retired. So, I've started in with simple projects, but I am already greatly enjoying the ease and quality of this machine.

Not the best

At first this was an amazing machine but then when it messed up i had to go 2 hours from home to get it fixed and you cant return it to the store.

Very happy with it!

Overall I am happy so far with my CS7205. It is replacing a Brother Project Runway Innovis 40 that I loved. I still struggle with the needle threading feature, so difficult to get right each time but this feature is important to my old eyes. I have many more of the stitches to experiment with but I am determined to keep at it. The machine is lightweight and I like the many stitch and speed options. I believe it's a good value for the price on a new, unused machine.
