[Rewarded Review] Not So Good

I bought this machine over a year ago, and have not been able to use it once. When it arrived, I sewed a couple of sample swatches with the thread it came with, but once I changed the thread, it jams and makes a big thread snarl every time. I’ve misplaced the DVD that came with it, and I don’t see anywhere that I can get a replacement DVD, or any kind of a tutorial. The machine is just sitting on the floor, while my old Husquvarna hums along. I’m sure it’s just user error, and that it will do great things, but it is not intuitive. So far it’s just been a big waste of money for me.

[Rewarded Review] Memory craft 6650

Ordered online on Monday( out of stock at my local store) arrived on Thursday. Love, love, love this machine. Still a lot to learn but finished my first quilt on this machine and love the performance. Especially like that I can wind the bobbin without retreading machine.

[Rewarded Review] This Machine is the Bomb!

I LOVE this machine. It's quiet, runs smoothly, and does not bounce all over the counter like my Singer. Works perfectly and love the large throat for quilting!

This machine is everything I wished for. It is a beautiful machine, wonderful features, like the automatic thread cutter and automatic needle threader. The package included a great instruction manual. I have not received the bobbin case #200445007 which was backordered. The 3 LEDs really help. I did not receive the instructional DVD that was to be to be included in the accessories. Please send me the DVD.

Not good for free motion quilting, cannot return product once the box is opened

My biggest frustration here is that the return policy shown on this product is misleading. The excerpt on the sales page claims that most products can be returned. It is only when you click through to the detailed return policy that you read that for corded electronics, you cannot return items after the box has been opened.

Great Experience

I love the machine and Overstock's *% off plus free shipping allowed me to get a better price than I could find anywhere else. I have always had a good experience when ordering from Overstock! :)

[Rewarded Review] Great!

Love it so far. Very smooth, powerful and quiet compared to my old machine. Has a huge work area which will be so helpful for quilting. Does not come with a walking foot, had to oder that elsewhere.

Finicky

This machine is a beast compared to my older Janome. That said I find it incredibly finicky with thread and needles. It has been very frustrating figuring out what it likes. When it runs smoothly it is fun. But right now that maybe 50% of time.

Got my life machine

I was in the market for a janome MC6700. A little out of my budget. But the 6650 is just as exciting to use. I wish it had the Accu feed instead the SFS feed, but that's the small stuff. Everything is awesome on this machine.

[Rewarded Review] Loving my new Janome Memory Craft 6650

I was lucky to find this machine on sale exactly when I was ready to step up. Sewing on this machine is a dream. I like not using the foot pedal and having the thread cutter. It will save me so much thread! There are some good tutorials on YouTube and I find myself referring back to them. I’ve been able to sew through several layers with no problems. I keep finding things I like about this machine.

THIS replaces my 30 year old Baby Lock. So much has changed!! We are still getting acquainted, but so far the instruction guide has been very helpful. My advice to others is to watch you tube videos and keep the guide handy. My favourite changes so far inclde the automatic thread clipper and the variable position needle. I was pleasantly surprised that both the extension table and quilting accessories were included.

I’m in LOVE with this machine ♥️

Brought this beauty home last night, read the manual and got to sewing. If anyone is having problems with the needle threader or bobbin jamming, CHECK YOURSELF and read the manual - you’re definitely doing something wrong. This machine is a beast and doesn’t make mistakes - if there’s a problem, it’s human error... hey, we’re human! If you’re considering this machine, good luck finding one! Love, love, love this beauty! Did I say how quiet it was? Did I mention the sweet as pie lighting??? So bright!

Love it!

Recently purchased the Memory Craft 6650 and haven't been disappointed yet. I'm just getting my feet wet with the free motion settings but it is very nice. I've watched many videos, put out by Janome and others who are giving their thoughts on the machine, and so far haven't needed much help in figuring out how to use it. I've made 4 quilt since I purchased because I love it so much haha. I constantly think about going and working on a project. Needle up down function is great for quilting, I also thoroughly enjoy the thread cutting option and the multiple ways to use (foot pedal, button, or lever option) makes me think this would be a good machine for many people in all walks of life. I recommend it all the time to others.

Versatile and great price

I have been quilting for many years now and also make home decorating items,- curtains, table runners placemats etc! So far this has been an outstanding ,versatile machine for me- great throat space and many decorative stitches - many included feet. Wish the even feed foot had also been included , for a machine designed for quilting, I don't know any quilters who don't use a walking foot regularly

Janome Memory Craft machine

I purchased this high end machine to do quilting and regular sewing on. I have been making masks with this machine and some alterations. The machine bobbin jammed and a needle bent. I am not sure if this machine is the quality it is toted to be. I was able to get the machine running smoothly again but am worried it might jam again. Especially quilting with thicker layers. I may not keep this machine. I will continue to assess and work with it.

Memory Craft 6650 Sewing Machine

Replaced my 50 year old machine when I started sewing Face Masks for Covid-19 pandemic. This machine is a beast compared to my old one. Quiet, speedy. Returning to quilting should be a delight.

Pretty Workhorse!

If I wanted to continue to quilt my own quilts, and not send them out, then I needed to step up my game. With the Janome MC6650, I think I’m there. Whereas I’m just now discovering all the bells and whistles Making a quilt should not be a chore. I feel like I can put a piece of beauty out there now.

Easy to use Roomy 10†between needle and body

I was pleased it was so easy to transition from my previous sewing machine to the new MC 6650. I love the 10†of working space between the needle and the body of the machine. I make lap size quilts and sometimes twin size and there’s plenty of room for machine quilting them. Also I can’t use a foot pedal and this machines stop/start button is perfect.

Disappointed

I just loved this machine when it would sew. But after trying to sew on a shirt made out of cotton it would suck the material and thread down into the needle and bobbin area. Threader didn’t always work. Tried two machine’s but had too take the second one back. Still love that machine when it worked but didn’t want too have this continuous problem to deal with.

So many features I would fix.

Each time I use my machine I can’t help but wonder,” is this another lemon”?
