Janone Skyline S3

thankyou for your prompt delivery of my new machine. I did't think I would ever own such a beautiful machine, love the Stop/Start button the scissors button to cut the thread. in fact i am learning each time I sit down at the machine its capabilities.

I really love this machine. It was easy to set up and sews like a dream. It has all the features you could possible want and the price was very affordable.

Pretty much like all other machines, easy to use and figure out. I never learned the self-threading and it works better for me to hold a white piece of card sock behind the needle, and it threads immediately.

This is my second Janome S3! I love this sewing machine, this new machine helps me sew two different colors, stitch types and patterns at the same time. Now I have a backup for when one machine has to be serviced!

It is easy to use. Perfect stitch. Loaded with bells and whistles. Will take some time to learn how to use everything. I'm loving it.

Great machine

I am enjoying the machine. It has done everything I have asked of it. The stitches are nice when stitched out and I have used heavier thread with no complications.

Durable and dependable

Seems like a very quality, durable and reliable machine that will provide longevity. Very versatile in nature. I think it is a good machine for a beginner like myself.

Fantastic Janome

Compared to my old Janome, this machine is a Cadillac. It runs so smooth and has a thread cutter too. The machine is very powerful and has great speed. I make quilts for nursing homes by the hundreds and donate these. Love the new LED lighting which lights up more area than the old bulb. It actually looks great just sitting there on the sewing table. It makes sewing fun! Love it!!

Skyline S3 - More Than I Expected!

I researched for months and finally decided on this machine. The price excellent, delivery was quicker than I expected. The machine is quiet and has so many features that I have not even had the time to explore! I like the weight because I wasn't crazy about the way the lighter machines slid around on my table, and the Skyline S3 also has a larger work space than the Magnolia (that I have been working on). My hands felt cramped when I was guiding fabric through. The threading and bobbin winding is a bit different than other machines but after a few tries I felt like a pro. The scissor feature is wonderful! There are no more thread ends hanging out and it is ready to start another seam without fiddling with the thread. So far, one week in, I am very happy with my investment!

Fantastic machine

I needed a reasonably priced machine that would take the thick layers of fabric purses I make, something uncomplicated, something that was quiet, and something that had a free-arm. This machine fit the bill nicely. I've had it a year now and no problems! My husband does basic cleaning regularly and it still runs like a charm!

Love this machine. Still getting used to the cruise control and the speed control. I keep lifting up my foot when I stop. Also,I have used some of the free feet. I really like the automatic buttonhole much better than my last machine. It is really user friendly.
