No returns…

Rating is for the store. No returns once open. What if it never worked to begin with? Told me I would have to communicate with the manufacturer.. I should be able to return it if I didn’t like the machine- too fast, slow…. That’s crazy so I won’t buy from this store.

I ordered this late night and they had 2 left in stock. Following morning I went to pick up. I walked up to the counter and the cashier said that they haven’t pulled it yet but If I wand to see if they have it down the sewing machine aisle then I could just take it and she would mark the order as complete. I walk to the aisle and nothing. Then a lady helped me and she checked on her hand held as I explained to her they showed 2 in stock late last night. She said they didn’t have it and then she took another look and saw they had stock suddenly but she had to check the back since they had a lot of stuff that just had arrived on a truck but they needed to go through it all. I said ok. I will just wait till the system tells me it is ready for pickup. Then I walk to the front again to tell the first girl what happened and I told her I will just wait for the order to be ready and as I walk away I noticed that my order had been canceled. I don’t know what came over me but I felt like sad, upset and was wondering why they didn’t just communicate that with me after all that. I don’t know why they couldn’t just wait to properly fill my order, I was ok with waiting, instead of canceling it especially when I am in their store looking for other things. I just left and walked out. I have purchased so much and left me with a bad taste. I went to purchase my machine elsewhere. So sad.

I wanted a sturdy, reliable, basic sewing machine to teach my children how to sew. This Janome is just perfect. At this price point I could not be happier with the performance.

This is a very basic machine and that is why I like it. I had an expensive Brother machine but too many features also means more things to go wrong. I have had no problem with the machine jamming like with the Brother. Very simple and I love it.

The unit cools fine, but does not have automatic cutoff and start when room gets warm. I got what I paid for.

Easy to set up and start sewing. Instructions were simple and easy to follow. I’ve had it 2 weeks and completed 2 quilts!!! Smooth even stitches! Love it! Had an old Singer and now I am enjoying a contemporary “purple”!

Has an abundant amount of oil in it.

We bought this cute Janome sewing machine for the grandkids to learn to sew on it. In setting up the machine, it had an oily smell to it, and I really didn't focus on it as much as I was setting up the machine and sewing on it. I was using white thread and noticed that it was coming out a gray color on the top stitch. The bobbin thread was perfect. I took the metal plate off to examine underneath and it was covered in machine oil. I wiped it out carefully as well as the bobbin case. I put everything back correctly and tried some more sample sew stitches. I have been a Janome owner for over 30+ years and I do professional sewing have never encountered anything like this. Has anyone else encountered this issue? It is a wonderful little machine and a great sewing machine for kids to learn on.

Works well. This new order is a backup. My quilting business needs a machine always running. Besides it’s very cute.

Love this little machine, it is light but sturdy. Great for taking to class and you cannot beat the price. Takes class 15 bobbins and uses the same feet as my Jazz II

I bought this to use at my Rock and Gem society for making grab bags. Works great for this. Lightweight and easy to carry. Now I just gotta get a cute bag to carry it in!!

[Rewarded Review] AWESOME n SIMPLE machine

I bought my Janome at Joanns about 7 years ago. I can't tell you how many items I have sewn but it was A LOT!! At least 20 dog bed covers, a dozen curtains, hemmed jeans, fixed other clothing articles n this tough machine has been amazing!! Super easy to thread because the order is easily numbered. To create a new bobbin is very easy. I have taken it apart to clean n dust out debris n it's real easy to do. I just LOVE this machine!!
