Beautiful however the top piece slightly off in sizing and doesn’t completing align. Tried to tweak the tightness of the bottom pieces but still misaligned. Small flaw but for the price hard to not focus on that.

The fireplace is beautiful and looks nice in my living room. My son-in -law assembled it quickly with no problems. I've been wanting one for a long time but kept putting off buying it. When I saw the sale price, I couldn't resist! It comes with a remote with a lot of options and gives off a lot of heat. My family will get a lot of enjoyment out of it.

I did a lot of research on electric fireplaces and wanted as realistic a looking flame as possible. Real Flame seemed to have the best reviews online. So we bought a Real Flame brand. The shipping at Wayfair is amazing. We live in a rural area and the driver reached out to me when he was in town to find out where to drop off. He then let me know when it was dropped off so we could go pick up. Arrived sooner that we expected.

Let’s star with the negative: FEDEX delivery team was terrible. Did not respect condo building requirements and got me into a lot of trouble with management. Second negâtive, is despite my efforts to assemble with precision, at the last step, I was left with a very poor alignment of the top shelf to the bottom of the unit despite my efforts to loosen screws and attempt to better align. Don’t know how to resolve this issue. Other than that very satisfied.

Very disappointed. Not what we expected.

The box arrived torn/ damaged/ broken. We remained hopeful that the furniture was in tact. It wasn't. Frame of mantle chopped/ broken in several places. As if that wasn't enough, there was nothing gray about it. It was brown. Worse than that, it was three different shades of brown in different pieces. The holes for the screws were not aligned where they were supposed to be. You would definitely need to drill new holes. Very unpleasant to look at. Very disappointed that I wasn't going to have a cute fireplace for the holidays. Have no choice but to return. I have to say though, the actual fireplace did light up nicely.

This fireplace is fabulous. For me, it’s a warm, wonderful addition to my living room and I’m totally in love with it. That said, I count myself lucky that I have a friend who’s very handy and put it together for me with the help of another friend. Just my opinion, but if you don’t know what you’re doing (like me) this piece is not exactly 1-2-3 to assemble. Still, I give it an easy five stars for its classic beauty.

This is a beautiful addition to any room. I initially bought it for my apartment because I didn’t have a fireplace and Chicago winters are brutal. I received so many compliments and nobody knew that it wasn’t even part of the apartment until I told them. My property manager loved it. Since then I have moved it into a home and use it in a family room. It emits a good amount of heat & my French bulldog loves to lounge in front of it on cold nights. Def worth the money and great quality!!

well... it's not grey!

I first want to say that the one-star rating is for the product itself and NOT the customer service. The mantle is not grey. It's not even in the grey family... It doesn't matter what the lighting in the room is, that bad boy is brown. In the dark you can see this is a dark brown mantle. Super disappointing. The firebox worked and looked pretty cool when I tested it out. The mantle had some damage, but that issue wasn't addressed because it's completely the wrong color. So, I'm sending it back and hopefully will find another mantle I like. Kim in customer service has been amazing... very prompt in responding to my concerns.

This product came in 2 boxes. The actual wood parts to assemble the fireplace, and the electric fireplace insert. The insert was easy to install. It helps if you have a power drill/screwdriver, as the holes aren't pre-drilled to attached the unit to the wood. The fire looks really nice, and I like that I can change the colors, although I don't see the use for green and blue flames but to each their own.

I would buy this product again!!!

I have never wrote a review on any product, but this is such a great electric fireplace I felt compelled. I have a very traditional home, a lot of white walls wood flooring,. This just blend in so well . I have received so many compliments. It was easy to put together. I am very thankful for the height of this fireplace for that is what make it look so realistic, not like one of the small electric fireplace you see.. It was a great purchase for my home.. Mary

Perfect! I wanted a larger mantle for my bedroom and this fits perfectly and is exactly what I had envisioned. The flame setting can be changed to your liking. I like the more natural looking flame. It's pretty warm too, and it isn't loud when the heater is on. The flame can be on without the heat which adds I nice ambiance to my room. I do recommend this. It took a little time to put together and I used some white caulk to cover the seams that were obvious once it was put together.

The fireplace is tall and a good size for my room. I love the fact it heats 1,000 sq feet. I do not like the different colors personally since the flame stays orange and the backdrop colors are what change. I am only giving 3 stars because it was shipped and it arrived with damage. Fortunately, we are building onto it and I will be repainting it, so it is a moot point; however, they need to upgrade their packing methods for shipping purposes. But overall, it is a nice electric fireplace. Much better looking than some I have seen in other stores. My husband had it put together in less than 30 minutes also.

This fireplace is amazing. It’s going to be our Christmas centerpiece. It took about 1 hour to put together. I was aware of the huge split between the top and bottom piece. I plan on slapping some caulking in there to make it more seamless. Either way, I’m stoked with the outcome and can’t wait to make it blend in more with white shiplapped back wall and some built in cabinets. Totally worth the money. Be careful not to go too tight with screws.

Beautiful, exciting addition to my trophy room (man cave)! Very well packed (no damage). Instructions easy to comprehend 7 steps and all sections labeled 1-10. I'm 80 yrs old and it went together in aliterate over an hour. The firebox and remote is very high tech, easy to install with 4 little screws. No tools needed as all the fasteners are the same that are thumb screws. Have heat or no heat still showing flames! Very pleased! Max

We just love this fireplace. The top does not line up perfect with the bottom as said in many of the reviews. It is not noticable unless you look for it closely. It is not an error in putting it together. It is just made that way but it still looks really great and it is the perfect size for our large living area that is open to the kitchen and diningroom. It is well worth the money for the size and style. The flames look very realistic. Frame is made out of solid pine and is very sturdy and well made.

The fireplace looks amazing! Exactly as seen online. It shipped in 2 separate boxes and arrived within 2 days of each other. The only con we have is the visible seam connecting the two upper and lower parts of the fireplace (can be seen if you zoom into the photos online) however it doesn't really bother us overall. There are multiple flame strength levels that can be changed depending on the mood you're going for. It heats nice as well! Overall its exactly what we were looking for. It also gets a lot of compliments as the focal point of the living space. Would recommend!

Purchased this for the Master Bedroom. It is perfect. Has adjustable temp, flames and a timer. It gives off a very comfortable amount of heat to fall asleep and then with the timer set you don't get too hot throughout the nite. It is made very well. We had an issue with some of the parts being damaged upon receipt but they sent replacement parts very quickly and didn't ask us to send back the damaged pieces. Such great customer service and quality. The fireplace is a very white color, not yellow or off white which is exactly what I wanted. It is very tall so doesn't look like some of the others out there that really appear to be portable. This looks like it was built in from the beginning. Highly recommend this as it is a great addition to any decor..

Flawed

Well - first, it arrived damaged. Both corners on the front of the mantel were bent in and peeling. Since it's out of stock, I couldn't get a new one sent to me. And Overstock doesn't credit a portion for damages - so I kept it. Hopefully I can fix it or something. UPS clearly dropped it on my porch. The box had dents/ripa and the styrofoam inside was broken. Next, the sizing seems to be off as the seams don't match. Hopefully I can figure something out because that might bother me. And lastly, a few of the images in the directions were wrong so they didn't make much sense, I had to figure it out because the image was lacking the correct number of holes.
