Great hight , nice finish by Koehler , needs seat
Ordered 2 by mistake, good thing one was broken during shipping
Didn't rec the entire product
The delivery crew was great however I only rec the tank part of the toilet. The base, or commode part , was not shipped. I have half a toilet and a plumber scheduled early next week to install. Not a good situation
Nice Toilet!
I like this toilet a lot . I also have the one that holds less water. I like the fact that the tank holds more water so I noticed the power of the flush is alittle better. I also, like the handle off to the side. Mike G. in plumbing at Lowe's was extremely helpful.
After installing this toilet I had to summit a 5 star review. The 1.6 gallon flush leaves plenty of water in the bowl and flushes very efficiently. The chair height is perfect. If you purchase this toilet you won't be disappointed.
Well i am not sure what to say. I ordered this Highline Toilet and Received it the end of July 2024. We did not unpackage the Toilet because we were not ready for it to be installed it when it was delivered it was placed in our garage where it stayed until our plumber arrived today to install it and the bottom of the stool is broken. They Shipped the package with no cushion the white box that the toilet is in was placed in another cardboard box with only brown paper for cushion and no where on the cardboard box did it say fragile. I would guess this is the shipping department with Wayfair not packaging the item with care. The brown paper you see on the floor is the paper they used only on the sides. I actually opened the box that the toiled is in
Tank lid rocks back and forth
The porcelain tank-top lid did not fit properly on the tank. Specifically, the lid would rock back and forth, rather than sitting square on the tank. I contacted Kohler and they are sending another lid. I hope this fixes the problem.
Installation by Angi went well
The color is much lighter than off white, biscuit, more white really and doesn’t match well. The seat height is abit higher than we expected.
Great Replacement
This “Highline” model toilet offers superior flushing over any others uses. Definitely prefer this 1.6 gal model over the 1.28 gal. The tank flush mechanism is well designed and is easy touch to flush. Installation was straight forward using just a new wax ring when replacing previous toilet. Definitely recommend.
Terrible Experience
Purchased this toilet via the app, and it was delayed for 2 days longer than expected. We had it loaded curbside, and once we got it home, we found that only the toilet tank was in the box. Called the store, and they had to search and found the toilet bowl and said we could come back and get it. Back to the store, we go, and we pick up that box and get it home. We now open that box, and the toilet is totally shattered. Back to the store we went for the 3rd time that day. They refunded us for the toilet, but we then had to settle for a toilet off the shelf to complete our project. There is no discount for a complete waste of our entire day to go with not even getting the item we initially purchased.
Remodel complete.
Bath remodel complete. This caps off a full remodel of our bathroom. Kohler is the best and of course all any good Wisconsinite should ever use.
Not what I thought I was ordering; item description misleading. wayfair ad said this was a Kohler "Highline" toilet. A complete "Highline" toilet has a "Highline" style tank and a "Highline" style base. These came with a "Wellworth" style tank instead of a "Highline" tank. However, I did recheck the ad and--under an expanded specifications details section--it does list individual Kohler part numbers for the bases (K4199) and tanks (K4688) I received. However, the important style names were omitted ("Highline" versus "Wellworth"). I did not realize this difference until my plumber had removed my 2 old toilets and installed these. I previously owned 3 complete "Highline" toilets and they were excellent. They have a different flushing design than the "Wellworth." Not a happy customer because these are not what I was expecting. I replaced my old toilets because of poor flushing performance. "Highline" toilets flush very well. I have no idea if the flushing design of the "Wellworth" will be as effective. May have spent $600+ on toilets than are no better than the ones I removed.
This toilet has 1.6 gallon flush. No need to flush twice. It is also taller than standard toilets making it easier for older adults and taller adults to use.
Great flushing power and slick design
I love how the water is flushed: quickly and efficiently. I don’t have issues flushing versus my old toilet where I used more water but still had to flush twice sometimes.
Awesome toilet. Its flush really does pack a punch! Always cleans the bowl. The self-contained water tank is nice. Works at well pressure. The flush is kind of loud, but it's fast so not like old toilets that make noise for an extended time. The refill is practically silent. It's taller which helps for long-legged individuals such as myself. My only complaint is these toilets are hard to find and more expensive to purchase and actually can't be shipped to some states unless you buy privately. All in all, a great purchase.
Wroth every penny
We could have purchased the two new toilets at big box home store for significantly less than what we paid at Kohler.com, but because we’ve been so pleased with the Kohler toilets we installed in two previous homes long before the rotating flush was introduced we wanted the same or similar, including 1.6 GPF. They are worth the wait (shipping from Kohler vs immediate delivery from local stores) and the higher price tag. The flush is powerful enough to require only one flush every time and they never clog. An added bonus is the design. The Highline offered at Kohler’s website has a more regal look than those locally available. The only downside is that while Kohler toilets purchased locally come with wax ring and seat, that is not the case at Kohler.com, thereby adding to the already higher price. Nevertheless, we were willing to pay extra to get the features and design we prefer. Very highly recommend.
I bought two of these for bathroom remodels. We love this toilet. It has a powerful flush and beautiful sleek design. Wayfair delivered on time and with care. We are very pleased with our purchases.
Excellent Toilet - Improvement over Previous Kohler
Great toilet! We installed 2 of these about 4 months ago. I am SO happy with the change. The added height makes a huge difference, especially in the middle of the night when I'm a bit groggy! Much safer to sit down and get up. The flush works great and the bowl gets a good swishing all the way around. We purchased the 1.6. GPF comfort height , which I would recommend. I'm sure at some point (in the not too distant future) politicians will dictate that we use 1.2 gpf, but the 1.6 is far preferred by my household. For those who have complained in other reviews about the drainage hole not being the right shape, they need to realize that more and more toilets are using the oblong shape hole and not the traditional round one. Just buy a plunger that is made for the newer type hole. (We haven't needed a plunger at all at this point). Kohler recommends one, the Korky plunger, which can be purchased from one of the big box stores for less than $20. So, for my part, this is my preferred toilet, even above a TOTO Drake model that we own.
Huge improvement over the original toilets installed by the builder
I purchased 3 toilets that were delivered to my home with no issues. The toilets were easy to install. They are so much more comfortable that the original toilets installed by the builder. The toilets are attractive, the soft close seats are quality, and the flushing mechanism works great.
Works as it should be at low cost
I need a very powerful flush for my giant roommate who has dumped and clogged my french curve toilet 6 times in a month. This has been working well for the last 2 weeks so far. My contractor only allows me to buy certain brands. Kohler is one of them. You don't need a top of the line model. This one works just fine!
Nice toilet but makes GI pitched whine when flushed
. We had 3 of these toilets and love the height and quiet flush. No clogging. But this 4 th one was bought to replace a leaky American Standard toilet. Every time you flush it, it gives off an annoying high pitched whine. Very annoying and brand new!! What’s going on? Professional installation.
