It's been running nonstop for 1 week.

We have a bullet style ice maker that's been with us for a while, and now it's going upstairs. We wanted a 2nd ice machine that makes different ice for downstairs. My wife loves it because its size makes it easy to chew. When it's first turned on each morning, it's a little loud for about 30 seconds, then it quiets down to where you only hear the fans running. Make sure to use the self-cleaning option about every 2-3 days, or it'll put out shavings instead of the tiny cubes. The initial quality is good.

Horrible noises, High Maintenance

I have had this for a few months and boy is it high maintenance and extremely loud. They longer I own it, the louder it gets. I'm glad I bought the protection plan bc I'm getting with them today on it. I can't even hear the TV bc its grinding so loudly. Giving two stars bc it does make ice with it being that loud.

Lasted 2 weeks

This was a birthday gift for my teenage daughter that loves nugget ice. She loves it until it started making really loud noises and then quit working not even two weeks after we plugged it in.

I recently came home from the hospital and became obsessed with ice chips. I immediately went online and found Cowsar ice maker. It works perfectly, easy to use, and the ice chips for my drinks did not disappoint. 🙂

First time worked good.

I got it, took it out of the box and made ice. Then yesterday I took it out for the second time since I purchased it in July. A high pitched grinding sound, red light, stating that the basket was full and it didn’t even start making the ice. I had to turn it off because of the sound. I let it sit for a while and tried it again. Still the same thing. I hope it has a one year warranty! Rip off.

It's not quiet

I was really hoping we'd like this ice maker but it is so loud. We thought we could get by with the smaller basket of ice if it was quiet but this machine is just as loud as the larger units. We will be returning it.

You have to empty it often.

This thing is a joke! Don't waste your money!

After being ripped off by Lowes for returning this, I am glad to write a review as to why I would NEVER buy this product and why I would NEVER recommend this product to anyone except someone I disliked. This thing doesn't make ice. It makes something akin to dippin' dots but a slight bit bigger. Not only are the nuggets tiny (and take FOREVER to make a decent batch), they melt almost instantly when you pour a COLD drink over them! It's literally a novelty ice maker and nothing more! Unless you like wasting money, do not buy this for a nugget ice maker!

Only had it for a short while but thus far working GREAT! Also the nugget/pebble ice seems to be (for us) a much more pleasant experience than 'hard' cubes/bullet ice...jus' sayin'

This ice maker makes crushed like ice. I've had several ice makers before and this one has them all beat!

Works as advertised. Hubby and I love it….nice soft chewy ice for all drinks.

Received this as a gift. It doesn’t work. I contacted the Company and sent them all of information they requested as well as a video as they requested. They said there would refund to the original method of payment so I obtained that from the gift giver. It is going on 10 days. No refund or response from them. I’ve sent follow up text messages,emails and voicemails.

Decent unit, could be insulated better to protect ice. Compressor is a little loud. Make tasty ice though!
