Decent product

Toilet seat is fine, but it has some nooks and crannies on the underside of the seat that are difficult to clean.

Flimsy & expensive!

I purchased this toilet seat on 6/25/24 & it was finally installed on 7/19/24. I do not like it. The lid is flimsy plastic & I’m afraid at some point it would crack if sat upon for any length of time. The seat itself is uncomfortable & feels as if one would fall through a hole. Also, purchasing directly from the company is more expensive than purchasing at Home Depot!! A costly error on my part. I ended up purchasing a different toilet seat by another company that works much better & is sturdier than the Cardiff soft close toilet seat. I can’t & don’t recommend this product.

Strangely not comfortable

The seat is strangely uncomfortable. I’m not sure if it’s the angle or the material. We are also having trouble with them hinges snd bolts that attach to the toilet body coming loose.

Arrived Broken

I have to give it a one star, for now, because it arrived broken. I could not start a return online. I was advised to make a call because the problem could not be handled online. Going to try and return it to Wal-Mart in person. Hopefully, Wal-Mart will handle the situation from there. I definitely would like to order another one to replace this broken one.

Not the most comfortable toilet seat

The shape of the seat (the way it seems to angle in) is actually not comfortable. It seems, when I sit on it, to be higher on the outer edge making it uncomfortable. Also one of the nuts connecting to the bolt continues to come off. I won’t be buying this seat again. Maybe another model.

Just what I needed

I’ve been looking for an American Standard toilet seat and finally found it. Easy to install, and it stays in place! The other replacement seats I bought were a waste of money. They never stayed tightened and would slide all over. This one is great! Wish I would have found this one before spending 3x as much on 3 other brands that were a total waste of money. Buy this one, especially if you have an American Standard toilet, and you will be glad you did.

cheap quality

Very Disappointed in quality of product Top looks very cheap. Not like the American Standard seat I purchase with the toilet.

Works well

I like the lid gradually closing. It works well. The feel of the material is a bit thin. Maybe this has to be so the lid is light and the mechanism isn't strained.
