Exactly what I wanted, I am using it to control a part time hot water heater and I needed an easy way to see if it was on or not, this lights up letting me know.

Affordable easy to install light switch with pilot light when on. For when the light is out of site from the switch to remind you it is still on.

Performs as advertised. It's nice to know that a device it supports is on or off without being able to see the device.

Be careful not to unscrew the terminal screws. The threaded portion is a loose clamp nut that falls down inside. Finally able to reengage the threads by holding the nut in place with a thin neodymium hard drive magnet. Other Leviton products do not have this problem.

The single pole rocker switch with a pilot light was used a switch for a garbage disposal and the pilot light would light up whenever the garbage disposal was in use.

Nice movement on switch. Easy to install with good instructions.

I use it for exhaust fans and food disposal because we are deaf and we cant hear noises from them. I will order more later.

The only minor gripe is that it has a strange feel and sound when switching, the "click" feels and sounds odd compared to the 15A Leviton Decora switches installed next to it. Not sure if this difference is because it's 20A vs 15A? I couldn't find a pilot light Decora in 15A.

Excellent Product, Faulty Instructions

The switch appears to be high quality but the instructions for wiring it are incorrect. If you follow the enclosed instructions, the red light will be on continuously whether the switch is on or off. The power and load leads (black wires) need to be reversed to work properly, i.e. show the red light when the load is actually receiving power.
