Don't buy the Ratio 6 if you like hot Coffee.

Awful. Warming plate only keeps coffee warm for a couple minutes. When making a second pot immediately after first pot the warmer isn't even warm. If you love the smell of fresh brewed coffee in the morning, no such thing with this coffee maker as everything from the drip basket to the carafe is so tight.
