Defective. Bad Design. Water wont stay in bowl

This is the 2nd one I ordered and I need to return it. The first one was from a different wholesaler. This one the water does not stay in the bowl. After flushed and filled, water slowly drains out of bowl until empty. Up close you can see minor defects with coating. So far issues with handling and manufacturing. Will have to order another one to fit the same model tank, or else I would have gone with a whole new toilet or even a different Brand.

Disappointed Customer!!

Never received the order, The item was shipped, but severely damaged. The delivery man took the item back and I asked if I should sign anything because it was damaged. He said no, that he would return the item. I've never been so disappointed. But I called and was told charges would be taken off my Lowes account. But that hasn't happened either.

Misshapen

Misshapen, uneven on the floor and uneven on the seat. Unusable. Defective, should never have been sold.

Edgenere toilet

I love the chair height & the way it flushes & is very easy to clean. I have a bad spine, so the chair height was the best thing for me. Wish I had found the chair height several years ago.

Horrible

Very poor quality control. Completely insufficient rinse to wash toilet paper down so it always sticks to the bowl requiring manual removal.

I was skeptical

It's good and it flushes pretty well. I was really worried about buying a low water level toilet, but that is all there is anymore. Some of them are junk. I'll admit it, I was surprised it functions as well as it does with not much water. It flushes good. If you need a toilet and are worried about it flushing cleanly this one works.

Missing water tanks

Received toilet bowl only. No water tanks!

We just had the Edgemere installed and using for a brief time but am enjoying is thus far

Perfectly met the need

The American Standard Edgemere 10" rough-in toilet perfectly met the requirements for a recent bathroom remodel. The installation was simple, although I did need to get slightly longer bolts to secure to the floor. The toilet flushes very well and is quiet compared to the toilet that was replaced. The handy toilet plunger that used to stay nearby has been banished to storage as it has not been needed in the past 2 months.

Elongated and Comfort Height a must

I did my research when shopping for this toilet. I ordered this for my father who is 80 and has a hard time getting up from a low toilet. He used to have one of those plastic toilet seat risers on his old toilet that got stained and gross even when I cleaned it with bleach but it still looked pretty bad. So when we remodeled his bathroom I made sure to order the elongated comfort height toilet because he needs to sit when he pees. So, both those options were a must for him. This model hit all the marks and at a great price too. I gave it 4 stars because the toilet was delivered with a tiny chip that created a small crack on the surface of the rim of toilet bowl. It doesn't seem to be deep so rather than returning it I just had it installed.

Meets Expectations!

The American Standard Edgemere is an elegant looking toilet. It performs its job as expected. The soft close lid is a nice touch. 5 stars.
