There is a little on/off switch that will save the battery. I could leave it on too. Either way will be fine. It's just like the ones they have at Physical Therapy.

Great Product At A Good Price

I wish the indoor part was at least 4"×4", it is very small but I am able to read the numbers on the screen. This one I purchased because my L.L. Bean one was not always working, that one I had for 16 years. Happy with my purchase otherwise.

Like the other reviews I agree, this thermometer is rather small, but it works for my needs. I put it in my freezer to monitor the temperature without opening the freezer up. Wprks great for it.

Set up is easy and it seems to be fairly accurate. Well see how long the batteries last but so far its a nice thermometer.

This is a nice thermometer. Easy to set up. But, I'm disappointed in the size of the indoor gauge. Really hard to read from a distance. Maybe they have other models that are larger. That's the only reason I gave it 4 stars.

What I like the best about it is the numbers are big enough to see I use this in my F-350 Ford truck which does not have an insight or not sight thermometer I just put a velcro strip and put it on the dashboard and then I have one in a little metal box with holes in the bed and it works perfect
