This is NOT 34 x 46

I got this enclosure for a 34 x 46 shower. After lugging it in and unpacking it, we only found instructions for the 36 x 48 model and one larger model. I called Vigo customer support to request the correct instructions. After all, it must be a mistake based on the specs on Home Depot’s site. I was informed that I did indeed have the right instructions and that THIS 34” x 46” MODEL IS ACTUALLY 36” X 48”!! I then had to figure out how to repack this monster and safely return it!

For short people

If you have a curb-less shower, the bar height is 70 inches. I wish I understood that before I purchased it. I thought it would be 74 inches. Had we not gone with a curb-less shower, the height of the bar would probably be closer to 74 inches. With the bar, this shower seems to be more for short people. I wish the description talked about the bar height with curb-less vs not curb-less showers.

The shower doors are well made with thick glass and look beautiful once installed. The only issue I am having is that sometimes water leaks from bottom of the door and the mounting brackets, especially when you spray directly on the door. I caulked all brackets and added a transparent door guard to stop water leak. I hope manufacturer can provide that along with the other water proof plastic rails.

Have this shower for over a year and have no complaints. My husband and I did the install and we are handy people but not professionals. Requires to have at leas basic tools. Quality of the shower and metal parts with no complaints after over a year usage every day . Will purchase again next time for guest bathroom.

Great product. I was impressed with the quality, finish and the robustness of parts and all pieces were included and in good shape. Instructions were adequate and detailed. This is not a typical DYI project as glass pieces are very heavy and some adjustments, skills and required tools (I needed to drill through tile for mounting) require some level of experience. Impressive adjustment options built into product allowed for a certain tolerance for squareness and plumbness such as well engineered roller adjusters. Overall, high end product well worth the $1400 I paid (for base and glass walls/door) as it looks like and feels like many products that cost a whole lot more. I mounted base in about an hour and walls/door took about 4 hours including unpacking and layout with an additional helper to carry and hold pieces during assembly. Be sure to use correct anchors (look closely at instruction pics) and be aware that drill bit sizes for included anchors was the only one instructions detail missing.

Incorrect dimensions on the website

While this shower enclosure is listed as 47x46, the actual dimensions are 46x34. If you check the manufacturer's specifications, you'll see that they don't make a model that's 47x46. I didn't notice this at first, so I ordered it from Home Depot. Unfortunately, I saw the dimensions were incorrect once I opened the box.

Worth every penny

Great product, packaging, instructions, and support. Very heavy glass to move around. Probably should have three people with initial placement to make sure first marks are perfect. Might need vinegar to clean water stains on glass, if any, from packaging.

I was very excited to purchase this unit for a bathroom we are renovating. Unfortunately, the shower panels marketed to be “adjustable” didn’t come close to fitting our space. Half way through the installation, we realized the door wouldn’t fit. I contacted Vigo, the company who makes the shower, only to receive the worst customer service. They took weeks to respond and gave no helpful solutions. They suggested I rip up the newly installed wall and floor we just completed in order to make the shower fit… something that would be much more costly than just getting a new shower. Luckily, Wayfair had great customer service and agreed to refund the item. I would never recommend this product to anyone doing a renovation as this shower isn’t very forgiving if your walls or floor are out of plumb at all.

Got glass door today and don't see Base

Bought this for a bathroom reno with matte black hardware. It's an impressive-looking shower! I required right base drain . . . the only weird thing with right base drain, is the logos on glass are on the inside and are backwards. Also, be careful rinsing the doors, after shower, as water splashes over base. I really like the shower, however always some mop up required.

The online pictures are very deceiving. After purchasing this product and getting it home we realized the drain was in the incorrect spot. We then called the manufacturer and they told us “Ya we don’t know why the pictures show the drain on the left center” product is beautiful but description for drain is completely off on the site.

Would get a higher rating, but the instructions leave a lot to be desired. Installed this in a 130+ year old house during a bathroom remodel and the lack of detailed pictures or verbose instructions meant it took 12+ hours and a lot of rework. Especially in an older remodel where things are not always square and level, lacking instructions can lead to a lot of headaches. Overall, product looks good once installed and despite the repeated handling, appears to be of solid construction.

Glass shower door and return side glass

It’s a great looking and functional product. Took two of us four hours to install. Be prepared for install time. Also make sure walls are completely square and level for this. No adjustment of course. Our tile walls were not square where the return piece connected to which left a tight gap at the bottom and almost an inch of space at the top.

Avoid Vigo products for many reasons. The last straw for me was when I called customer support to ask for help locating parts in the kit. Their response was to first ask me to prove I purchased the product rather than just answering a simple question. The "papers please" response was far short of acceptable customer service.

Great look! Great quality!

Purchased this for a recent bathroom remodel and we are very happy with it! Easy install and looks awesome! There’s only 2 small negative things I can say about it. One that it didn’t specify what size but to use for the wall and floor anchors (I used a 1/4” bit that worked well). Second is that it’s a very fine balance to getting the door to stay in place once it’s moved to whatever spot you open or close it to. If there Was some way you could add a little resistance to the rollers that could help. but anyways despite those small issues I would recommend this to anyone!!

I looked at every single corner shower unit offered by Home Depot because I had very specific restraints from my pre-existing space and this shower met those needs. (The largest constraint I had was I needed the floor drain 12" x 12" in the back corner of the shower base.) All the parts came in two boxes, the shower base in one and everything else in the other. The "everything else" box was HEAVY and we ended up unloading it piece by piece from the truck to the basement.

We installed the shower after my husband tiled the back walls. It looks very high-end. He hired a local handyman (and friend) to help him put the shower in. It took them about 5 hours. The directions were somewhat confusing. My husband called Vigo for some clarification, especially wondering about how to set in the base with mortar. Vigo customer service was great and an experienced installer was on the line with him in less than a minute. Very happy with this shower.

[Rewarded Review] Do not buy- change in design, extreme danger!

I bought this shower two years ago from Lowe's (Home Depot sells this same model), the EIGHTY POUND fixed glass panel fell, breaking my bathroom tile and cracking our granite countertop. It caused a deep gash in an adult person's leg requiring urgent care, but is far better than what could have occurred if one of our children had been in the bathroom- I am 100% certain they could have died from this 80 lb piece of glass falling on their head.

Beautiful shower enclosure

Bought this for a 1st floor bathroom/laundry room combo & am thoroughly satisfied with this unit. Having the glass wall plus the shower door gliding is really sharp & up-to-date with many of the high-end units out there. Plus being able to tile the other 2 walls with real tile versus the fiberglass option of some pre-packaged units really looks great. We tiled with porcelain tiles that look like travertine -- nice! Just make sure when installing you level & balance the door since it moves freely & can roll.
