Best knives ever. These knives can be passed to the next generation.

Almost perfect

This is my 2nd set of Wusthof knives-- they're always excellent. But-- I'm not sure why there are 3 slots left open in the block. It gives the appearance that something is missing, though it actually isn't.

Excellent Knives! Super Sharp!

These knives are excellent!! Super, super sharp!!! I cut myself twice the first time I used one of the knives- I'm not complaining though!

Knives are great - block is just okay

We have owned this set for a few months now and the knives have been great. It has 2 or 3 'empty' slots so you can add your own knives. I was disappointed with the quality of the block. It's already showing signs of wear on the bottom corners.

17 years running…

These knives have lasted longer than my marriage lol. Excellent quality metal that is easily sharpened and still holds an edge. Handles stay secure and no issue with the rivets. I’ve had these knives for going on 18 years and have not had any problems with them whatsoever. Do yourself a favor and spend some money on a good knife sharpener. I use the steel on mine for probably five or six needs and then switch to the machine and use the flapper for another three until I put a fresh edge on them with the grinding wheel. I’ve use the grinding wheel possibly once a year. The only thing I would change is the handles do crack over the years but Wusthof has replaced everyone of mine that has cracked and they’ve been very good about it. You get what you pay for which is why Wusthof is the only knife I will ever own for the rest of my life!

Quality and Value ! You can’t go wrong

These were a gift to my daughter and future son in law and I wanted quality. Having my own set I knew Wustof was the way to go. These knives will last their entire lives. Mine are 40 years old and just as beautiful now as when I got them. Worth every penny! Seriously these are the best knives period.

Great Knives and Warranty

I recieved these as a wedding registry gift- we have had them 14 years. Recently the black handle on a few of the knives developed small cracks and in one knife a piece of the black handle fell out. I called customer service and they helped me return the knives (even though I had no receipt). They provided me with a credit that was equal to the cost of replacement, I had not out of pocket expenses and now have new knives! Very pleased with the warranty and glad the company stands behind their product!

We’ve had these knives for about 3 years. They’re sharp still which is super nice and the block came with a great variety of knives for all uses. The only annoying thing is they’re not dishwasher safe and the expectation is to hand wash but for the price I would have thought they should be able to go into the dishwasher.

I've owned many knives over the years. I try to learn about each of them and make better decisions next purchase. After purchasing a full set of Wusthof knives I learned about quality and name brand. I would recommend these knives to anyone as a good jumping off point for purchasing GOOD knives. They're very good quality, but also pretty safe. You're going to be able to use them well and get many years out of them if you so choose. They're not finicky and require no special care. Just hand wash them and put them away properly, get the sharpened by a professional and they'll give you years of use. I've given a lot of my Wusthofs away to people I know would appreciate them, but the ones I keep have a permanent place on my knife bar.

I was not impressed with these at all, they dull very quickly and even after the sharpener still never sharp, they also get rust deposits on them after you wash them if you don’t wipe them dry. I would save your money.

Incredible knives. Well worth the cost. I will have these for a lifetime and would recommend them to everyone. Expensive but worth it.
