nice knife set i love the design

Not sharp, dull

Upon using the knives for the first time, I was cutting chicken. I noticed I had to bear down harder than usual for brand new knives! I sharpened them on the back of my electric can opener. After that, they were fine. I hope I don't have to sharpen them often.

A perfect gift

I purchased two sets one for myself and one for my Nephew who loves cooking. Very Sharp in slicing meat and vegetables. A big help in the kitchen and preparing food. Great value.

OK Knives

Not as sharp as I thought they would be, but the price was too good to pass up.

Not so much

Certainly not as sharp as I'd hoped for a brand name

1st These were delivered in a package that had already been openned and taped shut with shopping tape. the knives appear used. The blade edges have been nicked. Also, the factory metal finish is very poor at best. Too much trouble to return so I am just going to toss in the trash.

Lightweight and not rust-proof

I had an Oster Santoku knife that I LOVED- the handle had cracked after many years of use and I was trying to replace it. These looked exactly the same as my old one, but they are much less substantial and flimsy. After a couple of uses, the blades started to rust. I'm so bummed!

Great cutting utensil and dishwasher safe.

I use it to cut tomatoes and other veggies, it is a clean cut, but wont stay sharp for long.

dull knife

The knife set should be sharpened before using. It is not as sharp as I expected out of the bag. Use the knife to chop veggies, meats, or others by applying pressure from above, much like a cleaver.
