Missing Parts

Sadly I am unable to give a better review. The product itself is nice, however ours was missing a few pieces. We did not find out until a year and half after purchase since we didn't have it installed until then. When I reached out to the company directly I was told that this was a warranty issue and it was subject to the 1 year limitation. I offered to provide evidence that we just unboxed last week ( paid a professional to come assemble) but they just stuck to the one year warranty stance. So if you purchase, make sure and unbox and do an inventory so you find out if you are missing parts. I am waiting on a quote to see how much I have to pay in addition to the purchase and assembly to resolve.

So Glad We Bought This 12' x 12' Gazeebo

So to make a short story long, this all started when my better 1/2 bought a set of string lights on sale for $37. The world was in "lock down" due to Covid and Home Depot had this kit on sale! So we decided to take the plunge! While reviewing the assembly instructions there was a picture of the finished Gazebo on a deck! We both really liked the look and decided that would be the direction we would go. Then the price of lumber went through the roof, So the Gazeebo boxes got covered and "mothballed" until lumber prices came back down to a reasonable level. So when that happened we built the deck. I did everything possible that 1 person could do for preassemble purpose. Then got some help from a friend for the heavy lifting and roof. Instructions were very very good! all the pieces were cut properly. I love how the corner posts were hollow so I could wire for lights, receptacles & ceiling fan! The quality is absolutely 1st class! We get compliments constantly and this gazebo is the corner stone of our backyard renovation! We are so glad we bought this kit! I would highly recommend!

I'm super happy with my purchase. The order process was easy and the product was delivered ahead of the expected date. I will note that HD used a 3rd party company for delivery, and that company just unexpectedly showed up one day and dropped this massively large and heavy pallet in my yard and left. They would not take it around to the back of the house, so I had to drag two of the boxes into the gargage and then unload one box piece by piece because it was too heavy to drag. I hired a local company to do the installation - and I will say it took them twice as long as they expected (10+ hours with 4 guys), which meant my cost to install was twice as much. But I had no other option since I certainly couldn't do it myself. From a quality perspective, this thing appears solid. I've had so many compliments on it - from the landscaper to the electricians (I had a ceiling fan and two outlets installed) to the county inspector, everyone thinks it's fantastic. Only downsides are that the roof does radiate heat, thus the need for a ceiling fan. And as a few others have stated, when we have a heavy rain the rain comes off the roof and then runs back under the structure, getting furniture (unless I move them further under the structure) and rugs wet. So this means I'm having gutters installed on it soon, which is obviously an additional expense. All in though, the gazebo was the size I wanted for my space and even with paying for installation and gutters, still came in a couple thousand less than what local contractors quoted me for building from scratch. I would highly recommend this structure, especially if you have the means and ability to do the installation yourself.

The Yardistry Meridian gazebo itself is a beautiful addition to my property. My contractor said that the construction was "well-thought out," and he put it together by himself in three days. However, I gave the gazebo a rating of four stars due to mosquito netting being unavailable for it.

Real installer. Real review. You should really read before you buy this.

I assemble gazebos and playground structures among many other things that I do. I have 20 years of experience and I have REAL 5 star reviews. This is literally the worst assembly that I have ever encountered anywhere and that is saying quite a lot. Its not a good idea to assemble a roof on the ground and then have 4 to 6 people on 6 foot ladders trying to hold the roof up while someone franticly runs around trying to move their ladder into position to assemble this. Sounds like a lot? It is. It's potentially very unsafe. I don't know of any contractor anywhere that would think this is a good idea. Most other gazebos have several different ways to get built. Not this model, there's only one way and its entirely wrong. Look at the videos Yardley provides, its like a Charlie Chaplin film gone wrong. If your okay with that then grab your beers and get er done! (Please don't forget to film this as I have no doubt this will end up on Youtube as well and the world needs more humor!)
