The burners on this gas cooktop are extremely hit and miss. Sometimes they are fine, other times they don’t light. Not sure if I’d recommend this cooktop.

[Rewarded Review] Don't purchase

I will not purchase an expensive item ($1,000) from Walmart marketplace again. This item arrived damaged on 11/30. On 12/1, I returned it to the local Walmart. For the next 12 days, I alternated between going back to the store several times to check that the item was shipped back (I was assured it was, even though the fedex tracking number on the return receipt didn't exist), calling Walmart and emailing the seller to no avail. I got multiple different answers (item was received and I would be receiving credit soon, item was not received, I should have taken a pic of the damage, etc). I had a return receipt isuued from the store on 12/1 that I emailed both Walmart and the seller. A rude Walmart "supervisor" at Walmart.com told me I would have to go back to the local Walmart (yet again) and have them pull camera footage of me returning the cooktop!?!- even though I had a receipt.

Something wrong

There appears to be a defect in the Zline black porcelain cooktop. I ordered twice-from 2 different places-and on both cooktops, the black porcelain was peeling in the right side corners of the cooktop. Both were packed well. I can see chalking it up to damage occurring during shipping once, but not both times from different stores and shippers and damage in basically the same places (corners of the cooktop)

Love it! Awesome cooktop

This cooktop is very simple to use and the overall design looks really nice. Easy to clean as well. The burners ignite quickly and burn clean and even. It is made with high quality materials and nice top. One cannot go wrong with a cooktop like this. Love it!

Love this cooktop - worth it!

The cooktop is worth the money. It does look nice. The installation instructions could be written a little bit more clearly, but the common sense helps a lot with the installation. It would be great if the gas knobs would light when in use to make it even a better look. It could be also a safety feature (i.e. if the gas is running and no flame it could alert the user about the issue).

Great cooktop with top quality burners

Purchased this item to replace a cooktop in a manufactured home. I was looking for something inexpensive, but hoping to also get good quality. I loved the stainless steel, giving my kitchen an upgraded look, since I have recently began replacing appliances. I like the burners. My handyman easily installed it. I havent used it too much yet, but I hope to get continued good results with it. Im happy with my purchase.

Modern and clean

I love this stove is soo modern and pretty. It works so good and cook so fast, no excuses now. I love cooking dinner every night. Its so perfect for my newly remodeled kitchen I also got matching oven to go with it . both item looks amazing. For the price its perfect. I cant complain. I already have recommended to everyone I know.

Perfect for our kitchen!

The cooktop is very easy to install. It is full of firepower. It cook very fast, and it is easy to use and safe. The cooktop is easy to clean after cooking.This design of the cooktop makes me feel very comfortable. It has enough space for me to cook multiple things at the same time.It's a product worth recommending, and the price is very attractive.

If all you want is something that looks good…

then go ahead and buy this usless stove. However, if you want a stove to actually perform even the basics of functions - this is not worth your time. Sub-par flane control, badly finished grates, low quality mateials not resitant to heat (kind of bad for a stove), and poor packaging. I’m going back to a Viking.

Nice Cooktop

I am very pleased with the cooktop. I would have given it 5 stars, but it came out of an undamaged, well-packed box with chipped porcelain in two places. There was no evidence of any damage to neither the shipping box nor the internal packing. This damage was done before it was assembled. This soured me somewhat as I didn't see the damage until I had already removed my original cooktop. I was not willing to go without a usable cooktop while waiting for a new cooktop to be sent.

I like the low profile look of the grates. Burners light well. Installation is very straight forward but hooking up the gas line to the bottom of the unit is a very tight fit so had to purchase and install a 90 degree elbow. The biggest issue is the build quality. I have received 2 of these and both were damaged in the same spot. The damage is not from shipping but appears to be a construction/assembly problem. I'm going to try a third one.

I did alot of research before buying

I did alot of research before deciding on this product. I found out there are other brands with each having small differences with each other. some had bad reputation for customer support, some were cheaper and some more expensive. Over all I decided to buy this product from farmhouse Kitchen and bath because when I called them I spoke to a person immediantly when they answered and they very helpful in answering my questions. I read the reviews and was sold. Since installing the unit and using it for the last 4 weeks, I love it and would recommend highly.

Great Product and company!!

I was hesitant to buy at first because i wasn't familiar with the Zline brand. However that changed after a 5 minute conversation with one of the employee. i had a questions regarding this product and called their number they had on their website and a real person answered and they were able to give me answers to my many questions. While doing my research i found that this product had a cheaper price point than other competing brands/similar products. I had the chance of ordering the product from HomeDepot and other competitors but i went with FarmhouseKB because they had more options.
