Having difficulty with assembly, because no instructions or parts labels were sent with the unit.
So far…EXCELLENT..!!!!!
The dehumidifier is very quiet and works extremely well.
This model is operating much easier and better than our older smaller model. It keeps the dampness down and I am able to breathe. Was bought to help with respiratory problems in a damp environment. Better than could be hoped for!
The Edendirect 125 pt. 8,500 sq.ft. commercial dehumidifier works pretty well for my moist basement. The sound is very minimal and majority of the moisture has been removed from the basement.
Easy to set up. Pump works great.
Very happy with product as part of our mold remediation steps.
The Most Expensive Dehumidifer Mistake
It seems no dehumidifier manufactured since the 1980's lasts more than a couple of years! This is no exception. Unfortunately, we expected better due to the reviews and description. However, it stopped collecting water after just one year. Don't waste your money.
Excellent system. Works quietly and continuously in our basement. Brought it down from the 70% to 55%. Basement is 1500 sqr feet.
Best and quietest Dehumidifier I ever had!!
Not what I had hoped for
Thought spending a bit more money would buy me a better machine. Unable to achieve a humidity level below 64% in basement with this unit. Have used it all of last summer and now the beginning humid months of 2024. No luck. Purchased another (Honeywell) and have achieved 55% humidity level within a few days. Maybe I just got bad unit?
Zero Customer Serive
Purchased two of these units for a commercial setting as we really like the look of it and fit with the esthetic of our space. One has worked fine for nearly a year now, the other stopped pumping and would leak from the machine itself. Even the continuous drain would leak from the machine. Tried getting ahold of customer service to help me troubleshoot this problem and they didn't get back to me for months after multiple attempts to reach out. Once they did get back to me they said what may have been wrong but provided no solution. So I am now stuck with a $500 dehumidifier that just leaks water right back onto the floor. Very disappointing for the cost. We'll see how long the other lasts.
Poor quality, no instructions. Called Edendirect support for further assistance after searching to find the correct phone number, no 24 /7 help available. Product looked nice but otherwise you are on your own! Returned dehumidifier next day at Home Depot. So glad I could, since no shipping label was available and couldn't ever speak with real customer service representatives for help.Home Depot was great with return process and made return process so easy!
amazing dehumidifier
Family is very happy with the quality of air humidity in the house. The appliance is quiet compared to the noisy less expensive dehumidifier .I did notice that heat is not there like other inexpensive dehumidifier in the market.Instruction for drainage could be better.
great dehumidifier but non standard tubing
I bought this dehumidifer to run in a damp basement and to use continuous draining into the sump pump. But the hose it comes with is about three feet long, way too short. The directions say to get any .43 inch pvc hose. Try finding that. Lol. Half inch ID is too big. ⅜ inch ID is too small. .43” is some mythical number that doesn’t seem to exist in flexible tubing. And you can’t clamp on a slightly too big hose because the plug is recessed. Otherwise
Not quiet at all on normal settings and not good for large spaces, in a 200 square foot room will not drop the humidity below 45rh no matter what setting you put it on. 90% of the time with it set to 35rh and running full blast it gets the room to 50-60rh with it occasionally dropping below 50rh. also when you switch it to night mode no matter what you set the device at it defaults to 60rh haven't found a way to change that. Also if you have it in a bedroom like i do, be prepared to have to cover all the dials up with something since the only way to turn the backlights off is by putting it in night mode which again makes the system revert to 60rh with no way to change it, and even in night mode when that pump kicks on you're going to know it, very loud.
Bought two of them and they didn’t last more than 3 hours.
Easy to operate, works wel.
delivery is their big problem
Delivery is past due when i needed it right away. Keep sending notice its delayed more days. 1 star is for delivery. I hope it performs as described.
Good so far, has only been running for a couple weeks. Will let you know more after a year
