Nice looking trash can. When is works it's pretty nice. However, I have to turn it on/off at least once a day when it won't close by itself. Also after the warranty expires, if something breaks you might as well throw it in the trash because you can't get replacement parts unless it's in warranty. To me that's a pretty good scam. Especially since the parts that are likely to break (the bag holder) are made of flimsy plastic instead of metal. But if it was made of metal, the trash can might last forever, and that's obviously bad for their replacement business!

Love this trashcan. I had hesitated because of the price but it is battery or plug in. That was super important.

Not worth the hassle

This item looks nice but it’s very slow when opening and closing the lid. Sometimes the opening sensor doesn’t detect your hand, and I’ve been forced to open it with my hand. I wish I just got the foot peddle one.

Piece of Junk

I bought this on Amazon and it worked fine for about 2 hours but hasn't worked since. IHomes does not have a phone number to allow actually talking to a technician which makes it difficult to talk through the problem. A lot of money spent for a basic, manual trash can.

This trash can is awesome! As soon as your hand gets even close the lid opens. It is easy to empty and to place a new bag in the proper place.
