This product was better than the original as far as the GFCI electrical socket

I had to return the Leviton duplex GFCI. The new one was wider than the existing one, not by much but impossible to put in place. The GFCI location has a tiled outer surface and without cutting tile away the new one was not going in. I noticed that the copper ground wire had been completely covered with paint. I sanded the paint off and re installed the old one. No further problems.

Took me a little while to figure this out, but that's on me. Works as expected, the color matches the online photo, and the indicator light is nice and clear to see.

Installed in my kitchen and seems to be working great so far. My previous outlet was tripping the GFCI all time for what appeared to be false trips. This one has been installed for a few weeks and no false GFCI trips yet. I did test the GFCI function when I installed it, and it appears to work the way it is supposed to. I also like how the indicator LED is pretty bright, so you can easily see if the outlet has tripped or not while viewing from a distance.

Good status light indicators

I like the different colored lights to tell you what the status is. Don't like the ones that show no lights when it is working properly. I like to see a green light when it is working properly.

The screw terminals on this receptacle are really well designed to hold the wire loop firmly in place. It also has a small green pilot light indicating that power is present. One improvement would be to make the Test and Reset buttons a different color: the text on them is difficult to read.

I installed this to control an LED fixture over my kitchen sink that was way too bright. Easy install and worked perfectly. No buzzing or flickering. Highly recommend.
