[Rewarded Review] Nice, simple oven

The Gasland Chef oven was delivered to my home. The box was a bit beaten up, probably due to how cumbersome the box was. Upon unpacking, I noticed the rear and side of the oven sustained some damage in shipping. This is a non issue, because it will be hidden. The overall quality of the oven seems to be good. The fit and finish are nice and sleek. I really like the simplicity of the unit. It has a dial timer, a selector for where you want the heat, and a temperature dial. Simple is good. I like how the heating elements are shrouded. This will make for easy cleaning, and reduce the risk of oven fire if something spills. It also came with a broiler pan, which slides into the rack tracks. I have never seen this design before, but I like it. Looking forward to cooking a Thanksgiving turkey in it shortly!!

[Rewarded Review] It's a nice unit with a lot of features for the price, but i don't like symbols on the control knob.

First of all the oven arrived very well packaged with no physical damage. The installation wasn't too hard for me, although I had to make some small modifications to the cabinetry to get it to fit nicely. The manual is poorly written and confusing, but I was able to get around that hurdle well enough. The oven puts out very good heat, and cooks evenly, but the knob controlling the heating units is labeled with very small pictures instead of words. I don't like that feature because it's very hard to read them. I like that the oven has a triple layer of glass for better insulation, and the interior has a high quality enamel that makes it it much easier to wipe clean than many other ovens I've used in the past. I like that the door can be easily removed for maintenance or for a deeper cleaning if necessary. This oven has many more settings than I would ever want to use, but I suppose it's always better to have more options to choose from than less. Aside of its functionality, I really like the modern look of this oven. It's very attractive and classy looking.

Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to use the product. Was sent a gas oven instead of electric. Second oven delivered the glass was shattered.

Simple oven, great price.

This is a VERY basic oven. 3 knobs (heat direction, time, temperature). No ‘fancy’ options like self-cleaning or delayed start, etc. I chose it for price and simplicity since it is in my rental and the last one we had, had a complicated (for renters at least) interface to make it work.

The first oven they shipped was severely damaged. The second one got sent back before I ever even saw it due to damage. And the third one never got delivered. So here u am stuck paying for something that has yet to show up. And home depot says they can't do a return while the item is being shipped. Don't waste your time.

Must be returned

Quit working within 60 days. I will be out $600 in installation fees if I accepted a replacement without knowing if the new one would last a year.. I will return it and buy a different brand.

Ordered online on Friday the 15th, was originally supposed to be delivered by the following Tuesday, the 19, was rescheduled by Lowe’s until the 31st. Our oven shorted out and caught on fire so we had to have one, after many many calls was rescheduled for Sunday the 24th supposed to be as early as possible (deliveries start at 8 they said so should be there by 9) here it is 6 and we have no oven and is supposed to be 6 stops away 5 hours ago!!! 🤬🤬 at this point I don’t think it will come at all!!

Worst oven ever

It was difficult to install, The real problem is how it cooks. Takes forever to heat up, then heat seems to vary, baked goods never cook in the time listed in directions, this oven takes sometimes double the time to bake. It has now, after 5 months, begun turning itself off in the middle of cooking for no apparent reason. So very unhappy with this oven.

Great oven

Seems like a great small oven at 24 inches in the wall. Bakes, broils and cooks well.

I was very impressed that it got here undamaged this was the 9th wall oven I ordered for our kitchen remodel from various sources. You are at the top of my list for anything that I'm ordering online. Thank you.

We’re moving into our new home now. Just unboxed it and put it in as we are finally ready to install. It is nowhere near 24 inches even as you would diagonally measure it. I’m very disappointed, and furthermore, when I pulled it out of the box there was a giant dent in the back of the unit. I could not be more disappointed

GasLand 24'' oven

I was worried I'd not be able to replace my 1965 wall oven into a narrow cabinet, but this fit well. Except for the top that was bent in some(pack these better guys), the oven does what I need and looks great.

I was shipped a slightly different version, the convection fan was not built in the back but in the top. it was a little light weight but good for todays prices. I decided to send back and get a different brand. factory shipping bx was garbage, had to find something to ship it back in. Wayfair, was quick and easy to get the return done.

Good unit

The controls take a minute to figure out, and it is a small oven, but it actually is a very good quality oven. It's hearts quickly and cooks evenly. It's had a nice black and stainless look, and matches or kitchen well. We like it.
