We love this new insert. It is absolutely gorgeous. The depth of the logs and the realism of the fire is so relaxing.

Be Advised

This is a really nice electric fireplace but be advised it requires a mounting kit if you want to mount it in the wall or wall enclosure. There is no way to secure it to sheet rock without it. The description never explains this. I had to hunt for the kit, it doesn’t come with the kit. It cost me an additional $200. My contractor explained they normally come with the kit. I would advise to look for one that does.

Classic Flame Customer Service

I bought one of the 26 inch a year and a half ago (March 2022). This year is started to have some issues. I contacted Classic Flame directly and have gotten no response. There does not seem to be any customer support from Classic Flame.

I am very pleased with this product except for one detail. The variety of flame settings is great but would be much better if you had the sound of crackling fire to go with it.

Easy to install, great features for changing up the flame: color, intensity, flickering. Having a timer to set how many hours you would like to keep in on is great. You can also use the fire feature without the heat! Best of all it heats the room evenly and very well.

Remote is problematic. Sometimes it works with no problem, other times I have to press it several times to go on, or off! Also, changing the batteries can only be done using a small screwdriver to pry the back off. Really don’t know why they didn’t engineer the remote to be more accessible for battery changing. Unit heat is ok. It does not seem it would heat 1000 sq ft. Does help as an auxiliary heat source.

This insert exceeded my expectations and it's quiet. I bought an old fireplace to refurbish but needed a new insert. Works great and love the variety of flame color options.

It's Christmas Eve and I have an Er message

This lasted, like the last one I had, just a little beyond the warranty, about 2 years. No way in Hell I'd pay over $400 to buy a new one. They are all the same, will blow out on you a month past warranty. Expect to buy one every two years, but don't pay $500 every time. Wait until they clearance this garbage then buy but expect nothing. Just toss your money to the wind. You will be warmer. As for me, I am freezing in my own home on Christmas Eve for the last time.

We got our fireplace insert... it was perfect.

We use it in our TV area... downstairs garden area. Nice supplemental heat allows us to not have heat on hi up... but warmth down is cozy for us and goes up.

Good Fit and Realistic Flame

I would have given 4.5 stars for this product but no extended warranty was offered for purchase. It's also a bit noisy, but not too bad. It does have a nice selection of flames that look realistic and the heater will handle a large living room.

Walmart is fast, economical and easy to shop onlin

This was a replacement for a unit that failed after a couple of years, so I wanted an extended warranty but Walmart did not offer one. Otherwise, a good experience, works as expected.

Actual width and height where is it taken at?

Please tell me where the actual width and height measurements are taken at. What is the actual glass width and the height to the top of the unit. I am tying to get the glass through a cut out.

Better than the real thing!

Needed to replace fireplace insert in an existing piece of furniture. Delivery was super fast! Extremely easy to replace.
