It works good. Just as described. Not as loud as im used to. Which is nice. Better size description on the collar would have been great.

Great suction

Lots of suction power and simple elegant controls. At top speed the fan is not very loud, you don't have to turn up the music to overcome the fan.

I ordered this product and they sent me a dolly instead. They did send me a replacement relatively quickly but it took them weeks to pick up the mistakenly sent dolly. Terrible quality control and terrible customer service.

Good product

Hood fan was perfect in our new kitchen. Only down side was that the screws were missing from the box. Contractor had to purchase screws in order to complete installation. Fan is quiet with multiple speeds for fan & light.

The review Broan doesn't want you to see

I found cooking grease dripping back down onto the cooktop from this range hood. I followed all of the troubleshooting things Broan told me: Mine couldn't be a cleaning problem because grease started dripping after I'd used it less than a month! I contacted support and had Broan's certified repair tech out. He confirmed that the hood was installed correctly and we decided to try replacing the blowers. It took over a month for a new blower to come in. And then the new one started dripping grease THAT WEEK. It's obviously a design problem. My wife called Broan service again and was treated like an idiot by a sexist phone rep. I've returned the Broan to the store for a different manufacturer. I could understand if I'd bought a cheap piece of junk but for $550 I expect better.

Nice hood, just noisy

This good does a good job with exhaust and looks great. My issue with the unit is that it is not near as quiet as described. I'm measuring 55-60db on low setting, and it's advertised as 28db. That's a huge difference. Broan sent me a new motor, but the noise is the same. I question how they measure the sound on their units. Maybe just the motor with no fan installed?

Excellent Upgrade from an Old Hood

Quieter than the 15-year-old unit it replaced, with much better lighting and control panel.

Hood was delivered timely and carefully. The hood is beautiful and quiet and does a good job with cooking odors.
