ALL LOOKS and NO PERFORMANCE

Noisy and doesn't exaust well dont waste your money old one worked better and was quiter shopped long and hard for this as there are many choices very disappointed in mine. Looks nice but thats where the good times end with this product. I don't write reviews but I felt compelled to do so in this instance. Old one worked well but only had one fan speed and was builder grade rangemaster. I thought that one was noisy but this one sounds like a jet taking off 35 ft away. TV or other media are impossible to hear. No exaggeration its bad , all that noise and doesnt exaust much if any .

Looks great, doesn't work at all

We have the zline range and hood. The stove/oven are great, but the hood can barely pull in air and is extremely loud. If you're planning on actually cooking that creates smoke, buy a different range. It looks great though!

Cool LED Lighting

This stunning, contemporary hood replaced a 20-year-old lump of crap. This was simple to set up. It works perfectly and has many useful functions. With the aluminum subway tile backsplash, it looks fantastic. Excellent hood. Cool LED lighting and simple filter access.

I think this will be good but right now we still don't have the right parts.

Very good overall

After using our new range hood for a few weeks, we can say that so far we are quite pleased. The styling of the KE-36-400, even though modern, does blend well with our slightly more traditional kitchen. The fan is quiet, especially on the lower settings, and we find that we rarely need the highest setting anyway. The lower settings eliminate odors just fine if we run it during the actual cooking, even fish odors! The lights are awesome, and we love that you can adjust the angle, although a wonderful improvement would be to have the adjust brightness as well (for a night light setting). Overall, a terrific product!

I looked at a lot of hoods and I think that this is a good option for the price point. I live in a condo without outside venting, so the amount of what it can do is limited. That said, if you start it earlier than anything starts smoking or steaming, it does do a decent job. It is loud, but I don't think noticeably louder than other fans, and certainly not in the same price range. It does look nice and I've received plenty of compliments on how it looks over the countertop range. The lower lights work great too, and get a lot of use in my kitchen.

Great Product! A little difficult to install.

I bought this range hood to go above my range in place of a prior microwave. This ZLINE hood looks GREAT. I really like the style and especially the recirculating feature which allowed me to install the hood without the need to externally vent. The hood itself was great quality. My only negative feedback is regarding the installation process which wasn't exactly clear. The hood came with a very nice instruction booklet - but the booklet didn't address my specific type of range hood and left several steps vague. If I hadn't been handy, it would have been very difficult for me to install this product. But in the end, I managed the install in about 4-5 hours time and the end result looks great!

Works great! Fine suction, quiet, looks good.

Bought this to replace a fancy Italian - made outfit that the motor went out. Can't get new parts because the company's out of business. This fan is every bit as good -- probably stronger and quieter and just as sturdy. Easy installation. Lifetime guarantee a real selling point. Don't like the location of the lights or controls, but the fantastic price makes up for that.

Function and Beauty

I bought this (KF2-36) range hood several months before my house was completed enough to install, but I didn't want to chance it selling out. It was delivered quickly and in perfect condition There is a plastic lining adhered to the stainless steel finish to protect it from scratches and it is packed in styrofoam to prevent dents. All the hardware needed to install is included, and everything goes together well. I chose this model because of the four CFM settings. It has enough power to vent anything I can cook up. The lights are bright and pool over the stove top. I do wish there were two light settings instead of one, but this is minor. The range hood operates well and is surprisingly quiet. The best part is that it looks beautiful while it functions flawlessly.

Look great and work well

Had mine installed about 2 months now. It looks amazing which was one of the reasons I bought. It also does a fie job at removing smoke and heat away from the kitchen. The reason I can't give it five stars is because the fan is a bit loud in my opinion. The light on the hood exceeded my expectations. it's not bright, but it's usable. Installation was simple I initially thought it would have been complicated. Almost anyone can install one of these. It's a classy functional hood.
