Flush Mount Variable Speed fan

Great product. Descriptive and easy to follow installation instruction. Protective packaging, quick acknowledgement of purchase and fast delivery. Competitively priced and and quality materials.

Extremely difficult to install blades after motor unit has been installed. We wound up taking the motor unit back down and installing the blades, then re-installing the entire fan unit. Two person job. Fan is working well so far.

Excellent fan. Downgraded to 4 star because they didn't include the remote cradle that mounts over the light switch.

Very difficult to install

I'm an experienced handyman and I've installed a few ceiling fans before. This was by far the hardest to install. Directions were vague or wrong, parts didn't line up (or at least didn't line up easily). Some better design work would make it easier to assemble and install.

Beware of low speed

We purchased two of these fans. Overall, the fan is sleek, stylish, and quiet. I have installed one so far, but I am disappointed with the speeds. Speed 3 (the highest) seems more like a speed of 1 or 2. I am seriously considering returning because of the lack of speed.

BEWARE can’t replace glass

Learned today from Hunter customer service that you cannot replace just the glass cover/globe; you must replace the entire light fixture. Hunter quoted me $90 before tax and shipping —1/2 the full cost of the entire fan.

Cooling the patio

This is what we needed on our back patio. The price was within our price point. Easy to install. Thinking of purchasing for our front porch The remote is a must.

Failed Remote Receiver in Less than One Month

Fan was received as promised. Hunter is usually a solid product. It was easy to install and worked well for about three weeks. Now the remote receiver has failed and has to be replaced. So, I have to de-install it, put in a new receiver and re-install. What a pain. Hunter support was good at least in honoring the warranty.
